Sylvia nods, immediately curling up in the blanket.
"Start the movie!"
Sylvia nods, immediately curling up in the blanket.
"Start the movie!"
"Sounds good." Teagan started the movie and he and Finn huddled up on the couch to watch it. Finn fell asleep halfway through, slumped against his brother.
In the end, Sylvia ends up sprawled on her stomach, snoring lightly. Every so often, she would mumble something and shift a little, but otherwise she was silent and still.
Teagan finished the movie by himself and then turned off the TV. He carried Finn to his room, Sylvia to his own, and then got himself settled on the couch to sleep there.
Sylvia curls into Teagan slightly when she's picked up, and mumbles something loud enough for him to hear.
"Please stay. . . I'll miss you if you don't. . ."
"You'll be alright. I'll just be in the living room if you need me." Teagan replied softly, not sure whether or not Sylvia was even awake. He tucked her into his bed and then grabbed a blanket so he'd be more comfortable on the couch.
Sylvia reaches out and takes one of Teagan's hands, holding it tightly.
"Please. . ." she repeats. It was clear she was asleep, but at the same time. . . she was clearly reliving something.
Teagan sighed softly and reluctantly lay down on the bed since Sylvia seemed to want him there. He stayed on one side so that he didn't touch her, not wanting to make her uncomfortable.
Shifting, Sylvia curls up against Teagan, making a sleepy sort of purring noise and falling back into a deep sleep.
Teagan allowed Sylvia to be close to him, although he still wasn't keen on the idea, and soon fell asleep as well.
(Feel free to skip until morning)
(Okay lol)
The next morning:
Sylvia wakes up and slowly opens her eyes, confused why she was so warm. She sees. . . Teagan. Laying in bed. Right next to her.
She feels her face turn bright red.
Um. . . what did I do?
Teagan was still asleep when Sylvia woke up, curled up slightly on the bed. He had on sweatpants and a t-shirt to be more comfortable while he slept. In the other room, Finn was starting to stir as well.
She looks around, doing her best not to shift to avoid disturbing the boy next to her.
She hears Finn start to move and wake up and sighs.
Well, no getting out of this one. I don't want to wake Teagan up. But at the same time, Finn. . .
Finn yawned and opened his eyes, stretching a bit on his bed before he got up to get dressed. Hearing his brother moving caused Teagan to start waking up as well and he shifted a bit, mumbling something incoherently in his sleep.
Sylvia smiles a bit and starts to move herself, shifting and sitting upright on the bed.
She stretches, the hoodie's sleeves falling down and revealing those weird bolts and metal strips again. She looks at Teagan and nudges him gently.
"Wake upppp!" she says softly, leaning over him.
Teagan flinched away when he was touched, presumably a reflex from constantly fighting with his brother, and opened his eyes. He definitely seemed confused to see Sylvia and glanced around to see where he was. Last he remembered, he'd planned to sleep on the couch, and this certainly wasn't the couch. "Uh… good morning?"
Sylvia laughs a bit.
"Good morning! Up, up, up! It's shopping time!"
"Shopping time…?" Teagan repeated, clearly still not fully awake. "What're you talking about…?"
"You said we'd go shopping, remember?" Sylvia says happily.
There was a marked difference in her attitude. She seemed much calmer now. Not particularly better, just calmer. She was able to express less bitter emotions now.
"Oh, right… you go get Finn, then. I gotta get dressed." Teagan yawned and reluctantly slipped out of bed to go rummage through his closet for something to wear.
Sylvia bounces off the bed and trots over to Finn's room.
"Good morning!" she says, peeking in.
"We're going shopping!"
Finn was pulling a shirt on when Sylvia came in, and he looked over at her curiously. "Shopping? Uh, alright." He got his shirt on properly and yawned. "Is Teagan awake?"
Sylvia moves her head from side to side in a sort of half-nod, half headshake.
"Kinda, but not really. Would you like me to go wake him up fully?"
"Uh… sure? What do you mean by that?" Finn asked curiously, raising one eyebrow. "I don't recommend scaring him, he'll bite you and you don't want that."
Sylvia grins.
"You'll see." she says, bounding away. Soon after, she reenters Teagans room. Gathering herself up like a spring, she pounces on the bed, right on top of the werewolf boy.
She smiles down at him.
"Wake up! Wake up wake up wake up!"
