Tolly blushed a bright red and hid his face in Cas' shoulder, arm's tightening minutely around his waist. "Yes." His words were slightly muffled. "Because I'm in love with the most beautiful, caring, wonderful person in the world and he's in my arms right now."
He sighed in defeat and nuzzled Tolly's head "fine," he said softly "you win. For now at least."
Tolly laughed and looked up at him, a dazzling smile on his face and a slight blush on his cheeks. "Of course I won, I've got all the facts."
Cas rolled his eyes playfully "you didn't have any facts, you just took my words and twisted them so they fit your argument."
Tolly pecked him on the cheek. "Nuh-uh! I took your words and fixed them so they were true. I won anyways, so you have to accept that you're the prettiest."
Cas huffed to hide a smile and shook his head "no, I don't wanna accept it."
"Too bad." Tolly leaned over and kissed him, smiling playfully. "You already admitted defeat."
"yes I did, doesn't mean I have to accept the outcome." A traitorous smile spread across his lips
Tolly gasped in mock betrayal and put a hand over his heart. "No fair! That's cheating, Cas. Play by the rules."
He broke into a laugh "you never established the rules love, how was I supposed to know?"
Tolly pouted, setting his head down on Cas' shoulder again. "Fine! Rule number one is if someone wins an argument then the loser had to accept it."
"ah but I didn't know that before so now that doesn't count for this argument." Cas glanced over at him and kissed his cheek
"Does too! The rules count for every argument, that's rule number two." Tolly turned his head so they could kiss properly.
He hummed softly at the kiss and leaned into tolly "does not and you can't just make that a rule." He muttered
Tolly laughed and pecked him on the cheek. "Yes it does, babe. Rule number three says that anyone can make a new rule if they feel like it."
"your rules have no structure dear," he said with a smile
Tolly pouted, trying and failing to keep a smile off his face. "Why don't you try and make some and see how you like it."
He thought for a moment "ok, how about rule number 4 was it? Uhm no switching words around when you know the other's right."
"Okay, but only when you know the other's right." Tolly pulled Cas a little closer, kissing him again. "Anything else?"
He smiled in thought "no kissing to get your way." He said, wrapping his arms around Tollys neck
Tolly laughed, wrapping an arm around Cas' waist to pull him closer. "Is this targeted at me? I've never done that in my life."
"and now you can't start. That goes for the both of us." He laughed and leaned into to tolly
Tolly smiled and kissed him, wrapping an arm around Cas' waist. "I think that's a pretty good list for now. Um… did we ever get those flowers you needed?"
He nuzzled Tolly's neck before glancing down at the basket and nodding "yep, we don't need many. This should be okay for now. Ready to head back inside?"
Tolly gave the garden one last awestruck look before he turned back to Cas with a nod. "Yep! Let's head in."
