"Okay! So the merman turns around and it's Levi and I'm a little freaked out, but he leads me down to this cool merkingdom and he's all like 'you have to see the king!'" Tolly did a bad imitation of Levi. "And I was like 'okay, sounds cool' and he leads me into the throne room and you're kinda chilling on this fancy coral throne. And obviously, you're a merman too."
Cas tilted his head "Ok I must admit, thats not what I was thinking but ok, continue." He said with a laugh "what happen's next?"
"Well you're like 'I like this one, put him with the others' and I'm like 'what??' and I get shoved into this back room and there's like a dozen other guys just chilling and some of them are mermaids and some of them are human and we all end up doing this weird competition. Kind of like the bachelor but with feats of strength added alongside the dates."
Cas laughed aloud and raised his eyebrow "thats…interesting…So I held captives for my own personal pleasure, trying to find a date?" he asked with a tilt of his head
Tolly hummed. "Yeah, I guess so? I wasn't thinking about it too hard at the time, I was having a really fun fight with some big many-headed water dragon thing until you woke me up."
"ah ok,….Thats a really weird drem." cas chuckled lightly "do often have weird dreams based on reality tv shows?"
"They're not always based on tv, but almost all my dreams are weird like that." Tolly shrugged, laughing quietly. "What about you? What are your dreams like?"
"hm? me? oh, mostly fantasy like. I'm usually in a forest somewhere." he said with a smile "kind of like the one at mom and dad's house."
"You have a forest at your house!?" Tolly sat up, excited by the prospect. "That's so cool! Will we get to explore it?"
He nodded, smiling at Tolly's excitement "yep! We usually get a lot of the herbs and ingredients from there." He sighed softly "we'll need a lot to reenush the store. And all that inventory that we did the day before…"
Tolly frowned and pulled Cas closer protectively. "We can do it all again. I mean, it probably won't take that long and I'd like to hang out in the shop again anyways."
"what's left of it, that is." He muttered, nuzzling into Tollys with a grateful sigh. "We should probably start packing."
Tolly laughed. "Yeah, probably." He leaned in closer to Cas with a soft sigh. "I don't wanna get up, though. I'm so comfy!"
"I know, me too. I could stay here forever." He reached sip and kissed Tollys neck "but mom and dad are expecting to meet you so we cant be late ."
Tolly sighed and rose to his feet, planting a kiss on Cas' cheek. "I'll pack a bag in my dorm. Meet me there in 30 minutes?"
Cas smiled and nodded "yep! I think we're staying for two days, so pack anything you need that time." He said, standing as well and grabbing a bag from under his bed
Tolly nodded and jogged out the door, reaching his dorm quickly and starting to pack. When he was done he started baking a batch of sugar cookies as a gift to Cas' parents.
Cas packed his clothes and necessities for the two days. He sling his bag over his shoulder and headed towards Tolly's dorm. He knocked softly on the door and waited
"It's open!" Tolly yelled from the kitchen, busy packing away the still-hot cookies. His bag had been tossed onto te couch. "Come on in!"
Cas poked his head in "ready to go?" He asked, standing by the doorway and glancing around the room
Tolly nodded, jogging out of the kitchen with a Tupperware full of cookies. He pressed it into Cas' hands to grab his bag. "Yep! Are you gonna drive, or…?"
"I'll drive, it's not far from campus." He said, peeking into Tupperware "dad's gonna love these,"
Tolly beamed proudly. "You think so? I just whipped them up this morning as a little thank you gift."
"oh he'll love these for sure, he might not let us have any," he laughed and picked up his bag "let's go before it gets late."
Tolly followed him out to the car, stowing his bag in the back and settling in the passenger's seat. "You can have one now if you want. I made a bunch."
