Interesting concept. I think I might really like it.

Thank you. I'm trying my best to get it done.
Good luck. May the road ahead be soft and short.

Weirdly condesending
Not at all. I merely wish you luck. Unfortunately my odd ways of speech are not taken correctly by others. But I assure you I was sincere.
I know.
1) A loosely historically based fantasy centered around court drama, crusades, and war, a long lost prophecy, a bunch of immortal people losing their minds, giants, Celtic mythology, the Roman empire, and a bunch of relative-murdering.
2) A story about a middle school aged immigrant boy who believes his dead sister's angel is leaving him messages, and drags his best friend with him on a journey back to his hometown in Sicily in a series of events that mimics Dante and Virgil's journey through Heaven and Hell to find Beatrice.
3) A story about a group of kids on the US/Mexico border that I'm not so much writing to get published, but more as a fun homage to my friends because each character is based off of one of them.
@Mojack d u d e that sounds so cool
@MiBoiSycore That definitely sounds like something I would read!

Write to get published, cuz I'd pay for all three.
I'm working on a fantasy realism project. Don't have a lot going on at the moment but I have some characters with a it of flesh on them and a bit of the world.
I’m writing this hopefully going to be a series called the Somnium Chronicles (the first one is called The Prison of Nightmare). It’s about these people called the somnia who work together to create people’s dreams. They live in a world called Emmelinia. Long ago there was a war between the somnia and their enemy Nightmare. The somnia won and Nightmare was locked up. Years later Nightmare has begun to escape, and it’s up to a group of somnia—Emma, Liam, Lia, Ash, and Caleb—and the princess of Emmelinia—Kam—to make sure that Nightmare doesn’t escape. If they fail, the world will be doomed to be trapped in an endless nightmare for all eternity.
This is my Pinterest board for it
I have really weird chapternames in my stories… right now I’m writing on a chapter called ’more eggs’… Do you have any chapternames?
I think the weirder the chapter names the better. (Rick Riordan’s chapter names are the best)
So far mine are:

fanfiction, barely.
I’m currently writing on a (somewhat) shorter project that’s kinda inspired by some horror themes. It’s a bit of a sci-fi story.
The basis of it is that it opens with the characters at different locations. They may not know each other yet, but their stories tie into this one book. It doesn’t really have any horror themes quite yet, just everyday life. I should mention the story is kind of alternate reality close to ours, but not quite. It’s a bit futuristic, but no flying cars or anything like that, and we’re still on good ol’ earth.
The premise of it kinda starts out small. We see that some news articles and radios-TV shows are speaking of the garbage collection around earth, and how we could solve it. Then, at the end of one of the chapters, something crashes down to earth one night, like a beautiful meteor shower. Unfortunately, nothing is beautiful about what has just happened.
Luckily, the meteor seemed to have crashed in a relatively uninhabitable area. Soon, the crash is investigated, and kept private. They discover quickly that this meteor isn’t very normal. In short, the meteor is described to give off a red glow at some parts, and have smallish holes which leak black fluid of some sorts (described to be oil like, but is most definitely not oil.)
The meteor is contained and they begin to study it. Everything goes well until one of the main characters who happens to be at the location (in total, I have no clue how many main characters there will be, but there’s going to be at least two characters at the research station) has a tear in their suit and is exposed to the black substance from the ‘meteor’ and thus begins to experience some odd side effects. They fall extremely sick, are taken to recover, and once they believe that character is safe, they begin work again.. unfortunately, this is not the case, and things are about to get much, much worse.
Not a completely original concept but if I learn animation I want to do something based around this.

WHY IS THIS THE BACKGROUND STORY TO MY OTHER PROJECT? Sorry, mildly alarmed.
A meteor crashes onto Earth, its disclosed, people investigate but get infected. The meteor sets off a chain reaction of earthquakes that shifts the continents around. Infected peoples turn into zombie-like creatures ravaging everyone.
But there's a more evolved strand of the virus, which is called "The Bloodied", one that takes over the mind and body in one, creating a half-human more intellectual creature.
Surprisingly, my project is actually a strange fantasy about six magical nature gods and their human counterparts working together to fight this slowly encroaching virus. You can find the page here as proof I'm not making this up.
Great minds think alike.
I'm writing a story about four dragon lords, each from a different part of the world. North, East, South, and West. I don't know where the plot is going at this point but I know that East is going to yell at West because he thinks that West stole one of his powerful artifacts. They were set up and both kidnapped after the kidnappers explode West's apartment. West is physically forced to give up his symbol of power, the Hellflame, which the kidnappers are hoping to steal. But the Hellflame goes and finds a new host. West is released and meets up with North and South and they plan on how to get it back as West is completely powerless without it.
I'm writing a really long and complex story that will take forever to explain so I won't go into it unless everyone wants me to. And yes I am going to get it published. Eventually.
Lol.
I'm super bad at explaining things so bare with me.
A futuristic alternate universe where a select few have different kinesis's. A doctor was doing experiments and figured out a way to manipulate brainwaves. Unfortunately things got out of hand. The people who were given these kinesis's started to use them to manipulate people. The doctor who discovered this tried to make up for her mistakes. She operated on these 'gifted' people to try to take away their kinesis. So far no one has survived the surgeries she does. Slowly she gains more and more power. She opens a Hospital For The Gifted. Those who have 'gifts' are encouraged to volunteer for experimentation. If the person survives they get paid, but those who do survive usually go insane and have to be kept in the hospital anyway.
I'm having some trouble with the plot but its going pretty well otherwise. I have thought about publishing but I'm definitely not there yet
