Ooh nice what’s it about?
Ooh nice what’s it about?
I'm working one several series at the moment. All are taking my soul and shredding it slowly, but never the less I do plan on publishing….eventually.
Cool!
Not the soul-shredding part tho haha
Mine rarely shred my soul. Just force me to contemplate for long periods of time.
aka: soul shredding
I actually like the last on e. I would totally picked that up in a book store and read it.
Thanks a lot! It’s about a guy who switches schools to avoid some awkward stuff with his old friends and then basicly tries to create a new persona for himself atvthe new school. He then realises he is gay and starts dating the coolest kiddo in school.
Hey do you guys think my plot is too cliché?
I honestly don't know. Not my area.
Ooh nice what’s it about?
Start with your basic light and darkness war.
Then add werewolves
And evil twin drama
Magic
Spirits connected to ancient powers.
More magic.
More evil.
And a few other things…
And that's my novel in a nutshell.
Fun!
I’ve had it on break for a little over a year now, but currently I’m working on a main trilogy with maybe a collection of short stories afterwards. I’m only on the first book, 14 chapters in. Not publishing it though, but I might consider animating it or some scenes of it if I learn animation.
The first book Nothing is centric around a war between humans and aliens (although there are fifth columns in it). The aliens have the upper hand in this one. They eventually end up retreating from earth in a massive ship, although some people are left behind.
The second book, Something is taking place a few centuries from the previous events, meaning that a lot of the characters including the main characters won’t be making physical appearances. The ship is running out of supplies, and as such, a movement to return to earth starts. The side that wants to return ends up going there against orders. Earth has greatly changed, and the behaviours of plenty of animals have changed. There are also species introduced by the aliens to the planet. They come into the plot when the group gets hunted by some of the predatory creatures and then get saved by ‘humans’ (while they are humans, the main language spoken there is not English, and many of the underground humans view the space people with distrust.) That’s more of a short description I can give of the second one, but there is a lot more in it.
The third one is basically taking back the planet. We also learn the true motives of the aliens in this book.
I originally started writing it on an app called StoryCraft but I took a break, then since the app’s shutdown I haven’t been doing much writing but I’m hoping to resume writing this since it’s the farthest I’ve gotten in writing a series.
Now, do I plan on publishing it? No. Will I keep it for the public to read? Yes.
You were able to save all your work off the app right?

Yes.
I've got a couple WIPs but my main focus is a fantasy about 4 with different powers who end up getting forced out of their homes after people find out about their powers (It's not necessarily frowned upon to have powers in this universe, but it's also not universally accepted). Anyways, they find out that there's this safe haven town hidden in the mountains and the main plot basically just focusses on them trying to get there. I started rewriting it in November for NaNoWriMo, and kept going last month for Camp NaNo.
I'm planning on making it a series but I'm not 100% sure about publishing. I've kinda thought about it more seriously recently, but I'm still pretty uncertain. At the very least it will be on Wattpad at some point or another actually, technically there's an incomplete, unedited version that's already on Wattpad, but it's pretty awful.

Sounds cool!
Thanks :)
I have this Adventure/ sci-fi/ romance/ drama I have named "The Interplanetary Melody". Here is a basic plot summary:
A boy named Rose lives a life filled with yawns and constant scarring until he meets a masked adventurer with the pseudonym "Exi". Exi has found the shard of an ancient relic known as the grand white diamond and has carefully contained it. The Grand White Diamond is one of the galaxy's most powerful and sought-after relics. However, if any organism touches the grand white diamond or its shattered cohorts, they will become corrupted by a curse called The Animus. Over time, The Animus slowly consumes and corrupts your body, leading to mental deprivation and eventually total corruption in which you are transformed into a disgusting monster who longs for destruction. The spread of The Animus can also increase if its victim experiences intense feelings of fear or hatred.
Upon encountering a group of intergalactic terrorists called The Masked Council who also want the shard, a fight erupts between one of its top members and Exi, who promptly loses. As the Council Member is about to take the shard Exi swoops in for a surprise attack, shattering the capsule which contains the shard. In a fit of panic, Rose grabs the shard, not knowing its horrible effects. To everyone's shock, he is completely immune to The Animus and is made a target of The Masked Council, as anyone immune to the diamond's effects has the ability to translate ancient maps containing the other shards' locations. Rose the xenophobe, having no other options, must travel to many different planets with Exi while being chased by The Masked Council and other threats.
So why do people want the shard?
So why do people want the shard?
Sorry I didn't mention earlier. There are multiple shards, which when united, form the Grand White diamond. The Grand White Diamond is basically an infinite energy resource, meaning it can be used for any number of things without losing any energy.
Oooh fabs. You know how it works or is it a magic item?

I'm trying to aim for the "all-powerful" maguffin trope while still making it somewhat complex so obtaining it doesn't just mean "i have all the [insert specific number of maguffins here], therefore i am god".
I haven't worked everything out but the basic idea is that to properly use its power it must be connected to some kind of device.
Cool. And good luck.
Cool. And good luck.
Thanks! :)
I'm also doing something else. Haven't made a single chapter in it, but I'm considering making a short animation of some scenes in it (if or when i do learn animation.)
The basis of it is giant monsters and their interactions with humanity as a whole. At the beginning of the story, we come to the knowledge that while the monsters exist within the story's main dimension, the largest ones that are seen are typically 50 metres tall or so. There aren't too many of them, and most of them are pretty small. 50 metres is rare for them anyhow. Humans have been living with those creatures for a while so as modern technology comes into use and the population is rising, they finally figure out how to kill these creatures, instead of in the old days where they just had to target the young or the eggs, provoking the rage of the monsters. The main story takes place in a time where tensions between countries are high. It's got some focus on the humans, as well as the inevitable war that's gonna break out. On a search for resources the humans make a beta of a supposed dimension travel device, which they hope to find resources in. They arrive in one nicknamed the Dead World (within reason) and walk around for a while, before coming across a MASSIVE skeleton. They only realize it's a skeleton once they exit it and go to a hill where they look back and see what it was. But anywho, in the skeleton there's a few cave systems. Big caves. They find an egg in one of the caves too. One of the humans is like "let's take this strange glowing egg we found in a strange cave." They take it home with them and research it in their labs. But one day, there's these big earthquakes and storms all over the world. It was completely unexpected so it does a fair amount of damage. And eventually, a monster named Arashi arrives, who is immune to the weapons invented to kill the kaiju. He's also currently (at his appearance) the largest kaiju.
Meanwhile, soon after Arashi's appearance, the egg hatches, and a baby kaiju who we'll call Empirean comes out. Now, by baby, Empirean is probably about the size of a 5 year old. But that's to be expected. Eventually they sort of create a 'kaiju nursery' and Empirean sees one of the scientists as his current parent.
And again, meanwhile, an angry mother finds out her egg is missing, and sets out to find whoever took it; and at the same time, her rival, Jiimaru heads towards the main dimension as well, setting them up for a fight that will probably cause a lot of destruction. But's it's okay (actually not okay) because big monster fights, am I right?
I am writing my novel series called 'The Untold Obscurities' currently. I plan to have seven books in it that deal with topics such as: Mental illnesses, abuse, lgbt+ pride and rep, the dangers of power, paranoia, racism, the impact of lying, child neglect, ect ect all within character arcs in a urban fantasy/sci-fi world.
I'm only on the first one so far, and only a few chapters in despite working on this for years, well worth the wait.
The first one I have named Death, and I'll try to give a basic summary.
The characters are all teens in a country named Qereni. (basically England/France, but the realization that the world is fictional comes slowly, so I don't overkill the readers with information.)
The main characters are Hunter, a smart yet egotistical somewhat-badass bi-greyromantic and Ember, the bookworm who is basically trapped by her anxiety. They both attain sketchy pieces of jewelry, made of silver, a rare and very precious metal in this world, nearly surpassing diamond.
While Hunter deals with the violent bully, Gabe, who hospitalizes him with scars covering his face, he comes to the realization that the bracelet he owns is not normal, as it is a self-defense weapon.
Once he is out of the hospital however, it "Activates" and both Ember and him are introduced to beings called 'Spictres', souls meant to be their mentors. They struggle to realise what they need mentoring on and the threats to come, when they slowly realise the Spictres are more twisted then it seems…
Best I could do without giving away it all.
