  • Protagonists (especially females) that have personalities besides "sarcastic fiery badass"
  • Antagonists that aren't villains
  • Believable motivations for villains that aren't power or revenge

Developing the main antagonist to make them crisp and the greatest

Math is alright, I don’t hate but I don’t love it either…

Amazing art work that goes from the front to back of the cover… I love those so much…

Ok, I have to admit, I do sometimes judge books by their covers. If they have gorgeous artwork I'll probably want to read it more than one with a plain white cover.

Yeah, I especially love the ones that continue to the back, especially when they add amazing details like fire, ice, water stuff like that…

Does anyone else have a weird thing where you like seeing a big hardback book without the paper flap on, (preferable lots in a row) and the gold or silver lettering, with a plainish background?

yes i love that a lot

Another thing, homosexual males who don't let their sexuality control them. They act normal, not overly feminine.

Straight dudes who don't care if they look or act feminine!

@HighPockets group

  • DECALED EDGES!
  • Groups of friends without romance (like in The Outsiders)
  • Families with siblings who support each other, but still fight and bicker and are petty towards each other
  • Characters who do things like assassinate or murder people and have actual feelings about how that's bad

Eh… Of course it's not everyone, but some gays I've met are very feminine.
Also I do. Because then immediately people will assume my sexuality. It already happens cause I'm a spazz. (Which is a stupid reason.)

What's worse (I think I said this already?) is that I love my best friend so much. But this current society is so focused on promoting lgbt+ that love between men will not be seen as anything but sexual/romantic.

Yeah, I understand. Although honestly from what I've seen in my obsession with history, I think it has more to do with the fact that historically whenever men have displayed affection they've been seemed as "effeminate" and then effeminate lead to beibg called gay. It was never really about gay people, since the LGBT rights movement as we know it didn't start until the 1970's, it was just a way to degrade femininity in men. I think focusing on promoting LGBT positivity is important for all the young boys who ARE gay and are scared to show that kind of affection, but I also think we should work on dismantling the idea that affection isn't masculine or that boys can't love their friends, because those ideas didnt start with support for gay people, they started with hate for gay people. The two issues go hand in hand, and have always historically.
