I'd like less sexy monsters, please.
What's next, a sexy chuthulu? Yes I know that's probably spelled wrong

And stop giving all female monsters big boobs when it makes no sense

Monsters are supposed to be intimidating and scary, not sexy ;_;

Lizard monsters with boobs tho
Why?? Only mammals have bewbs ._.
Reptiles dont breast feed, so why u giving them boobies???
For the LAST TIME jk probably not
One of my ships consists of a 100 yr old elf dude and a freshly turned 19 boyo, is that too much?
I have a relationship between a human woman and a fae guy, but because of how aging works he's only both physically and mentally like a year older and her (and honestly less mature)
I'm talking like, she's fifteen and he's madly in love with her but he's nineteen and the other characters are like, yeah sure and then it tuRNS OUT HE WAS IMMORTAL FOR YEARS AND THEN ITS BEEN, LIKE, TEN YEARS SINCE HE BECAME MORTAL AGAIN AND HES JUST BEEN PHYSICALLY AGING REALLY SLOW SO HES BEEN CLAIMING TO BE 19 FOR AT LEAST FIFTEEN YEARS, NOT TO MENTION SHES NOT EVEN SIXTEEN AND THE HALF SISTER OF THE VAMPIRE QUEEN AND HES A FUCKING PSYCHO, NARCISSISTIC SERIAL KILLER TRYING TO BECOME IMMORTAL AGAIN
yes this is very specific, thanks for noticing
Definitely the maturity of the actual individuals plays into it, not just using the race as a whole matures more slowly, I want proof that this specific character is about as mature as the other. Because I've seen it where it's like, oh his race matures slower than hers, so it's okay, but he still acts much older than her. And species are kind of weird, and it's different for each u guess? Idk. I kinda just got mad about one instance and went on a rant
Cedar's definitely less mature than Giana, and physically is a year older. The fae in my world take 100 years to grow and develop before being considered adults.
(its ok y'all can say twilight)
(it wasn't, actually. But yeah, that too)
they did that in eragon when he falls in love with arya who's like 100 yrs old and elven and he's like 16, except i think paolini handled it rlly well bc arya rejected eragon and explained that she's much more mature than him and it wouldn't work and eventually he understands

And then at the end of the book the whole thing where Arya is like, Yo, dude give it like a couple hundred years then we could totally be a thing.
lmao
My boy Soáki is two years younger than his gf in maturity but almost three hundred years older than her. It does work out sort of when she is cursed to be a ghost.
looks uncomfortably at 5000+ year old elf and casually-barely-20-year old protag. Hmmmmm.
JUST MAKE IT NOT CREEPY YOU GUYS
My goodness Eris. How does this work?
and I was worried about shipping my slightly immature 17-year-old with someone just one year older
My goodness Eris. How does this work?
Oh I don't know. They're both consenting adults with similar interests, values, codes of honor, maturity levels….? I mean in fantasy does age really matter once they're adults?
Honestly, why would it not work?

Uproarious laughter.

I guess it depends on the culture and if one will outlive the other significantly.

Ahhhhh. Well in Elvish culture I would suppose that it is common to have significant years between SOs. And the protag is immortal too. Just a wee baby at the time though.
