It was around 8:00 and Caroline's feet were definitely hurting she had been walking around all day and now she just wanted to go home

After the hours of staying out on the beach, Brad still managed to have a huge smile on his face. He looked like a child, as he was tossing a football back and forth with a couple of the guys. "Alright everyone, it's getting dark. We need to head inside!" Kaylee called out, her cheeks pink from the sun. Walking up to Caroline, she sighed softly, with her hands on her hips. "Hey, thanks for coming, Caroline. I know you're not really one for parties." Kaylee told her in a soft tone, not hugging her.

She smiled softly and nodded"Of course Kaylee"

"You sure I can't get anything before you head out? You haven't drank much, I don't want you being dehydrated." Kaylee offered once again, pulling her hair out so it would fall over her tanned shoulders. "I really don't mind getting something for you."

Caroline lifted her feet up one at a to take off her shoes and hold them in her right hand "No really Kaylee fine" she said

"I'm just worried about you… you've seemed really off since you got back. You wanna talk about it? If not tonight, we could go get coffee when you're not working." Kaylee offered in a soft tone, running her hand through her hair.

"I'm fine Kaylee" she said starting for the house

Kaylee fell quiet, watching Caroline go in silence. Once she was gone, she made her way up to the guys, ducking when the football was tossed. "Brad, I'd go check on Caroline." Kaylee told him softly, when he was getting ready to throw the ball back. "Why? Is something wrong?" Brad asked her softly, pausing mid-toss. "She seems odd. I don't know what it is, she just has me worried." Kaylee replied, still in a soft tone. Brad sighed a little, tossing the ball without much effort. "I'll go see what's up. Sorry guys, I gotta get going. Thanks, Kaylee." Brad told her in a soft tone, starting off to the house. As he reached the back door, he grabbed a towel and pull it over his shoulders. "Caroline?"

"hm?" She said looking up.from.the text message she was sending

"Hey, everything alright?" Brad asked softly, glancing around the empty room as he approached her. "Kaylee said you seemed off to her."

She sighed "I'm honestly fine " she said going back to texting

Brad gave her an odd look, running a hand through his hair. "Alright, I just thought I'd check. I was planning on heading back to the house, I'm kind of drained from the long day."

She shut her phone off and held it in her hand before walking over to him

"Mm, could I get a kiss?" Brad asked her softly, reaching out and holding her face in his hand. "I haven't gotten one from you in a while."

She smiled wrapping her arms loosely around his neck

Smiling back, he picked her up with a soft sigh. "I love you… I hope you know that."

"I do and I love you too" she said

"You're not mad or upset with me, over coming today?" He asked her in a gentle tone, looking up in to her eyes.

" no I'm not" she said

"Mm, thank goodness…" He mumbled, resting his head against her shoulder with a soft sigh.

"I love you, so much" she said

"I love you too, darling." He hummed in a soft tone, yawning a little. "I'm so tired…"

"You should head home" she said

"Mm, probably. You gonna come home soon?" Brad asked her softly, leading her over to one of the couches.
