Um - honestly, I don't think Kansas is that cool. We have a Manhattan here, but honestly, that's not unusual. There's a lot of Manhattans in the U.S.

Deleted user

Nope. Manhattan, New York and Manhattan, Kansas. Two is too many. As I said, we have many in the U.S.

Deleted user

There are 9 apparently. That is too many.
I guess we up here can rest assured there won't be two Crotch Lakes or Ball's Falls…. or Punkeydoodles Corner's, for that matter.

Deleted user

I snort and nearly choke on laughter Really? What in the actual hell?

Deleted user

No, Hell's in Michigan.

I think Ball was a guy who discovered those falls or something, but Crotch Lake is still… snorts We have some really weird names for things.
Saskatchewan has Forget and Urin, Alberta has Vulcan, N.F. & L. have Come By Chance, Blow Me Down and Goobies, Nova Scotia has - Oh, look. more balls! - Balls Creek and Mushaboom, New Brunswick has Cocagne (pronounced cocaine), PEI has Three Pistols, Manitoba has Flin Flon,

Deleted user

I sigh I know.

I choke harder at these names O-okay! What the hell, Canada?

Deleted user

What the hell indeed. Why PEI only has Three Pistols will remain a mystery.

Fun fact: Germany has Titz.

Deleted user

Well, of course it does! Japan does too, ya know. (In the form of anime, of course.)

Deleted user

Germany also has peeing giraffes

England has Shitterton. Peru has Lake Titicaca. Australia has Useless Loop, Mamungkukumpurangkuntjunya and Gunbarrel Highway.

(why thank you. I'm making a point.)

Deleted user

Tries to pronounce Mamungkukumpurangkuntjunya Manung-jkgvuvyjcfytvyikvgbugvyigvi. Nevermind. . .

(I can tell, lol.)

Ma-moong-kuku-sdxfcghbjnkm

I can do humuhumunukunukuapua'a and Tutankhamun, which most people cannot. The latter, I mean. It's surprising.

(so can my sister. This and the geese should be enough)

Deleted user

I try again Ma-moong-kookoom-poorahn-koont-joon-yah. I think.

I sigh People are all very uneducated these days. TOOT-uhn-KHAH-muhn. The first one is not in my area of expertise.

(I chuckle Good, good. . .)

Deleted user

Yup. claps My friends say something like TOOT-ann-KA-moon.
Humuhumunukunukuapua'a is a Hawaiian fish.

(this makes me wonder though; does that mean she thought Italians and Ancient Romans were aliens?)

@PastelTart

Grins Good! You haven't been on much. Too much work to do for school? I snatch the popcorn bucket Yes, yes I do. I produce a full popcorn bucket and hand it over There you go!

takes popcorn bucket Yeah, school's pretty busy. But hey! We just got out for spring break, so now I can be on more often!

I chuckle I get that. School sucks big, hairy- actually, I'll let you finish that yourself.

@PastelTart

Spiders. Spiders are hairy. Well, not all of them, but tarantulas are! Idk, spiders were just the first thing I thought of.

Deleted user

I chuckle That's why I like you innocent people. You aren't cursed with a vivid imagination. Well, not the vivid imagination people like me have. Meep, for one, is close in imagination to me. So is Lix.

But that would mean siccing the geese on half the school, and as much as I wish I had that many geese, I do not. I will borrow your geese. I may also conveniently forget to give them back :)

Hoo-moo-hoo-moo-noo-koo-noo-koo-ah-pwoa-ah-ah

(so, to channel my inner brother (the one who called you a potato [gods, clarifying who is who is so annoying. I would give them numbers, but they'd all bug me about who's number 1 and so-and-so wants their number higher than so-and-so's] "every time she ate pizza, she was betraying our planet! the horror!")

Deleted user

We were having too much fun
Also, no comment on the extensive list of place names that are hilarious/weird/etc? pouts for a second I spent time on that.
My OTHER little brother saw the list and was running around educating my parents and other siblings on the existence of Ball's Falls and Crotch Lake. At the top of his little lungs. His class has a lot to look forward to when he goes back.

Honestly, I was choking on laughter.

Yes. I assume, at least.
