Me wanting to actually learn about my religious community/mythology coupled with my adhd is not a good look
Here's a visual representation of my spiritual life rn: me and a few dieties/spirits/saints and a stack of books are all sitting on a bench avoiding eye contact and not saying anything
I don't know what to dooooo
But I have youth group tonight and that's when I practice meditating through bullshit so that's something
Realized last night that the reason my family likes my food so much is probably that I've been unknowingly been practicing kitchen witchery for years
Ooo now I want you to cook for me.
I had a similar thing with enchanting jewelry. I watched a witch talk about it and was like
I thot we were all doing that
All of my jewelry has intentions and vibes set into them, and I rarely get new jewelry because it's almost never right.
Found the prettiest crystal while clearing off my desk the other day. I also realized that moving to Minnesota for college means I'm going to have to completely change my practice because I can't burn candles and that's the majority of my craft, but im slowly coming to terms with that. The campus is GORGEOUS and there's so much Outside things to do even though it gets really cold in the fall. it's fine. it's fine.
I did a claw machine thing and got 3 bags of stones
I know for sure that I have 3 pieces of quartz and 1 red striped Jasper, but I cant remember the other 2 stones
Do they have any kind of meaning? The little note with the Jasper said that it dispels guilt and fear and that the quartz amplifies that power
Theyre super pretty and I just want to know if they mean anything
Hh I'm stuck in my path. Not really burnt out, just don't know what I should do.
Me: talking about witchcraft
My sibling, thinking I'm full of shit but not wanting to be rude: mhm
Me: finds their shit with a pendulum
Them: 👁️👄👁️
My sibs the same way, but they texted me a bit ago about how crazy it is an Irish folklore hiccup trick works everytime lol
What's the trick??? I get them all the time
I would copy and paste, but the duchas.ie must be down, so from the best of my memory:
On your first hiccup, say "there goes one of them," on your second say "there goes two of them," and on your third "there goes three of them," and you won't have a fourth.
I usually don't notice my very first hiccup, but when I do and do the trick it works for me too. Sometimes if I can remember which I'm on I'll just say it (ex: "there goes six of them) and that'll work too.
I recently bought these and I’m feeling rather content now that I have them
They look hella cool!!! Would you mind telling me what the one on the left is? I don't think I've seen it before
So the necklace on the left encompasses many thing but I myself only recognise certain things.
Going clockwise around the outside, starting from the top, we have the alchemical symbols for balance (balance of the elements Earth, Air, Fire and Water), Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury and Moon.
Everything in the middle circle is the formula and product of a sigil
Ooh so I was doing a spell last night, and the flame was really tiny and weak, but it's not because the spell was bad, it's because the candle was drowning itself in wax. So I cut a channel in the side for the wax to leave through, and voila! The candle burned strong after that. So my point is, if you're having trouble with a candle during like spellwork and whatnot, double-check that the issue isn't being caused by the candle itself. Faulty wick, excess wax, etcetera, before pinning it to "oh the spell's not working". Especially with votive candles, because I've had this happen two or three times with votives, where they drown themselves in wax because they aren't like, draining? yeah
So there's currently no available gender inclusive housing at the college I'm going to, which means it's time for some ✨witchcraft✨

So I've gotten hiccups twice since this and it's worked both times
Catholicism is a witchy context is cool
I COULD email my roommate to find stuff out about them OR I could not do that and just ask my pendulum and wait for them to email me
draft the email of questions, do your spell, wait a week and if nothing happens take the initiative like the badass you are
