@Lavy-the-Nerdy-Sci-Fi-Birdy
Really?
Really?
Yes.
I go to a Catholic school and we’ve watched The Princess Bride twice for class!
LUCKYYYY
Yeah I'm a conservative Christian, lots of my friends are conservative Christians, and it's like a staple movie of that culture. :/ At least I thought. The only person I knew who didn't like it just thought it was dumb. XD
Same @Masterkey. LOTR is one that's part of that culture too.
^^ Yes, definitely
I only have one friend who wasn’t allowed to read HP. It wasn’t really enforced, but her mom said that she had some concerns about it. Her sister is reading it now and her mom doesn’t really care anymore.
Also The Outsiders is a popular book at my school. Everyone loves it.
Oh I read the Outsiders a couple months ago for fun, and my ELA teacher told me that I would probably read it again next year for class
The Princess Bride
Ahem
Twilight
and Trolls
I don't think Twilight counts anymore…everybody hates it! 😂
YEP!
oh and
forgive me
High School Musical
Nah, you're fine bro. I didn't find Highschool Musical entertaining either. Just kinda cliche and boring.
I used to love high school musical as a kid lmao
I found it blasphemy that the theater geek ended up being the bad guy
the geek probably just wanted a bit of drama
lol
Ugh I HATE High School Musical!!! Soooo overrated and annoying!
I still stand by the obvious fact that Troy was the actual villain here and Sharpay was actually a very good person
I've never seen it….
Same here! Never sat down long enough to actually understand what was going on! Just sat there for a few minutes and then promptly left bored.
Ma didn't like it so I never saw it.
Well it was just playing on the screen at my friend's house so I just paused for a few minutes to see. But, yeah, I never understood the hype for those movies.
