The only case of an adaptation that is miles better than it's source material is Ready Player One

You'll need money!💰>:D
What's Ready Player One like? I wanted to see it in Real3D in the theaters, but it left…
Why thank you

It has its fair share of flaws, but it was really fun. There was a part where they had to traverse the house from "The Shining"… it was pretty awesome
K. The trailer looked great.
Also, the guy playing Halliday was really good. He may not have looked good in the trailer, but trust me, his performance was unbelievable
Cool. I first saw a teaser trailer for it during the Olympics, and Ben Mendelsohn showed up in it and I was like 'Hey! That's Krennic!'.
When you want credit for making the death star but you made a super popular virtual reality game
lol
XD Lookin' forward to seeing it. Hope ma doesn't get in a snit about the rating. PG-13 and she's like 'What's it PG-13 for?' and I'm like trying to tell her while she's giving me the eye.
There is a scene where one of the characters feels Wade's… crotch area, but that's all I can think of in terms of things to be concerned about
ah….
Yep, I'm doomed if ma watches this movie…
Are you old enough to go by yourself, or is your mom overly protective?
Yeah, but I don't think it's in theaters anymore… sides, last I knew, it was only at this one theater where the sound system is WAY overwhelming, even by theater standards.
O_O
What kind of a hell-hole do you live in?!
South Dakota
Yep 'Good ol' SD
I think it might be worth the overwhelming sound though….
I had no idea South Dakota even existed until just now… I guess that really says something…
Yeah it's prolly the safest state as far as natural disasters go but besides that just don't even bother
Yeah, don't come here if you can't help it. How much of the horror genre is in RPO though? It's a bit of a trigger depending on what it is…
There is one scene where a character meets some zombie lady, and a jump scare happens, but it's mostly played for laughs and you'll see it coming from a mile away
K Anything from movies? You mentioned 'The Shining' earlier.
