Heya there! Just got back from that Mandela Catalogue thread.
Yeah. Come to think of it, being called a Phantasm sounds so badass and cool; especially with that definition for context.
It’s like we’re ideas. And since an idea lives as long as someone remembers it, even subconsciously. That means we get to live forever in a sense, even if we’re ghosts.
Imo, the really cool part is that if someone has an idea for long enough, it’ll eventually influence them. Then they pass on that idea to their friend, who passes that idea on to their mother’s mother, who then carries it to a whole other country via some friend in Lithuania or something.
Sometimes they know explicitly what the idea is, other times they don’t.
As long as that keeps happening, then it guarantees that in this vast world of indifference and sometimes hatred, there’ll always be a group, no matter how small that will remember your impact on the world and celebrate it. Even if it’s in a small way or large way.
Even after the Sun explodes into stardust and the Universe enters a dark era of particles just floating ever further away from each other, you’ll have an impact as long as you share your ideas, and become a ghost.

Three things: 1. Are you dehydrated, 2. Are you sleep deprived, 3. Meds? or 4. All of the above?
1, I don't think so. I've been drinking more water than ever lately. 2. I sleep but have chronic nightmares and chronic fatigue so I get no rest from sleep, 3, I've been off my thyroid meds but even on them I still go through all that. I used to assume its my PTSD and anxiety but now I'm just questioning my sanity ;-;
The sleep deprivation can really do that to you and lack of rest can do that to you. Anxiety can really add to it and bring on a sense of paranoia that can intensify what you're seeing and feeling. hoping you can get some good rest in the near future homie.

I admit I have checked the movement in Notebook.ai every once in a while after just spawning off and I did notice it is kiiinnnddaaaa dead yeah. I wonder why this is? I kinda wanna come back tbh
Sorry for popping in in a random part of the conversation btw. What did I miss in the past few years? What cool challenge did y'all create? BaCk In My DaY the biggest trend was the Uquiz one, so I wonder if something similar happened or the site is really dead. The "your most ___ OC" thread was also really popular so I hope to God it isn't dead lol. In my attempts to check in on the site, almost NOBODY was online the same time I was. Admittedly, I logged in usually at night so maybe that explains it, but still, back in 2021/2022, even when I logged in these late hours there were still quite some folks here!!

Nope, isn’t just you. Aside from the faces, I think my brain’s malfunctioning from all the insomnia. Feels like my vision is turning to pixels and the chemicals running around in my skull are starting to explode.

I can’t really say much beyond that due to my own gradual quieting, except that the Chicken Chat (if you know what that is) is fighting to stay active. I’ve also seen you online once or twice, though my schedule isn’t as open as it was before.
Edit: The last time “Most __ Character” was active was in April of this year. So yeah… bordering on dead
Edit 2: Also, not sure if you were here when it was implemented, but I am now one of the moderators here, alongside @ EldritchHorror-Davadio and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) himself. You can tell by the little blue shield next to our usernames.

Lol, yeah. I didn’t have a job back then, so I had nothing else to do. Now, I have a full-time job and other stuff besides that, so my schedule has drastically changed. Davadio is an elder (he’s been on Notebook since 2018, compared to me joining in August 2021). He’s pretty chill.
Um… I am honestly only part of the Chicken Chat to keep an eye on it, so I only somewhat understand it. But, it’s basically a chat that was initially very active and dominated by younger teens (15 year olds mostly). It was mostly just for them to bs and goof off, though it’s had a good chunk of drama along the way (troublemakers and trolls). It’s on Part 4, I think, because the first 3 threads are so massive that it lags the site. It’s also, I believe, a closed chat, as when it was open it was always attracting trolls.
I'd love to come back to the site, most of what kept me away was lack of time to post lenghy af texts of my OCs but the community was really fun. Any old souls that remained in the realm? Or did most old users leave?
Lol. Um… not quite sure. Sam and Meep (if you know who they are, they were active back then) are no longer on here, mostly because they are the same person and they pulled some jackass bullshit and got called out on it. The others that were heavily active then (Denny, Persona, etc) are either gone or inactive. I think only a few are still actually on the site though tbh. Otherwise, the ‘old souls’ now are actually elders returning from hiatus to see what’s going on.
