Sibings are a big OOf and an even bigger MOOOD

@Relsey

Listen, I could deal with 2 siblings maybe even 3 possibly 4, 5 would be iffy…. But dealing with 10 of them is just a struggle.

@Pickles group

My friend's the oldest of a bunch and her mom has had a bunch of boyfriends and kids with all of them and she and her current boyfriend treat all of them like dirt and make my friend watch her siblings every day while they go out of town. Frequently.

So I have one older brother who's a year and a few months apart from me, a little sister who is five years younger, and a little brother who is ten years younger than me. Their names are Ryan (age18), Mckenzie (age11), and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) (age7). I can hardly handle three and @Relsey has do deal with TEN?! Yeah…think I'll pass.

Wow! I only have seven! Actually eight but it's cool.

@eztliraldclairinda

Well there aren't really. But perhaps bigger families are more likely to be creative writers or something.

huh. that's a possibility.

I'm going to be really open here. I don't tell many this, but there was a period last summer when I felt alone…like, really alone. That's how the whole story writing thing started because the characters are like friends and I always have a character that is me or that I play. I make the stories in my head and play them out like a show or series and that was pretty much my entire summer. I was really introverted which is the total opposite of who I am normally.

@eztliraldclairinda

I agree. For me, my characters are usually the only things that really matter to me at times, and telling their stories really helps to lessen the loneliness.

That's why it took everything I had not to break down when my story took a life of its own and my closest friend died! It tore me apart! I made a memorial day specifically for when he died.

I know, right? At this point, it becomes less of us writing the story and more of us just recording what happens…

@eztliraldclairinda

Same. I have, like, two pages written, and in my head, it's an entire trilogy.

I'm kinda sad though…the story is almost at its end. And its been so much fun…sighs sadly

My brother asks about my characters and stories sometimes, and then either questions or sometimes criticizes why they are the way they are (like if someone one is depressed or violent or GAY, or why my most recent story has a bunch of murder in it).
I try to explain but he just doesn't get it, and he refuses to take "they just are" as a 'valid reason'.

Also, a couple minutes ago, he apparently thought back to a conversation we had a while ago and doesn't even remember what it was about, but he just went "meh meh meh", mocking something I had said during the convo….like…?
