I can’t believe it.

This is fake, isn’t it?

If it is, then it’s the worst prank ever. It’s sick to tell people you’re going to commit suicide and then enjoy watching people panic.

It really is… I once thought I was responsible for someone else's suicide for 2-3 years before realizing it was a sick attempt at getting people to like them again after they bullied some of my old internet friends

@WriteOutofTime

Notice how "yeEts" panicked when we said we'd send paramedics to Fern's house. They were adamant against doing that, even though it could save Fern's life. If that's not suspicious…

It’s a horrible feeling knowing you can’t do anything about it and then realizing it was just a sick attempt at a joke. It’s also insulting to others who’ve attempted suicide, and those who have committed suicide. It’s so darn insulting.

I’m glad you realized that person was just an attention seeker.

The fact that their account was created minutes after Fern’s post is suspicious enough.

Plus… yeEts seems really bent on this getting to Dan and Phil….

@ShadeStar

This is also the only place they've posted on, and it was 3 minutes after the account had been made, AND it was after the post had garnered some attention from others. They also immediately wanted to send the message rather than attempt to help.

If this is a joke please fess up immediately. A lot of the users were effected by drama that happened late last night into early morning. We do not need a fake suicide to deal with on top of everything else right now.

Someone who just doesn't understand the true horrors of this world… To the point they'd mock them.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Suicide is not a fucking joke and anyone who tries to gain attention from it needs to take a good hard look at themselves and rethink what they’re doing with their life…

I agree with all of the above pointing out evidence on how this is fake. It’s sick and disgusting.

It was painfully obvious from the start, but I was just an 8-year-old on an overly sheltered kid's game, so I didn't really know how to tell. She said that her bullying was her way of coping since she was also bullied, but not only was she bullied but her father was in the hospital, her mom was in jail, her brother had committed suicide because of those same bullies, all of her friends had betrayed her, she only had her abusive aunt to take care of her, and they were losing their house. Just one problem; she never mentioned any of this before. Not even a hint. You'd think if someone's experiencing THAT MUCH that they might mention it at least once or have it affect their personality, but it didn't. And then a few years after the whole situation I found out that she had still been using the account from time to time, just not messaging anyone. If I remember correctly she even sent me some brownies (it was a baking game, and in the game brownies were actually the easiest, cheapest things you can make since you don't get much money for giving them to your customers). So yeah.

@actual-fandom-trash

I don't know if this is fake or not. If it is, screw you. You'd better own up and apologize and never do it again.
But if not, Fern please call the hotline. You don't have to die. We care about you a lot.

Honestly, the fact that you reacted like that proves you cared. People who exploit this are the worst.

I’ve seen how fucked up people can get over an internet friends suicide twice. That shit isn’t funny.

It fucking isn’t. I was literally in TEARS when two of my good internet friends threatened suicide upon themselves. If this is fake I’ll be truly upset.
