@Masterkey I think that's one of the series my mom read to my brother and I when we were little but I don't remember it very well. It's by Dianna Wynn Jones, right? Just last year I read a bunch of her other books. (And by read, I mean obsessively burned through them one after the other). I love The Lives of Christopher Chant with all my heart. Have you read it?

@Masterkey

No I've actually not read anything by her except the Howl series. I will definitely check out The Lives of Christopher Chant now!

@Masterkey it's part the Chrestomanci series. It's my favourite out of all of them, but I don't think it's the first one.

@Dove.ai

The Unwanteds series is really really good, I can't remember the author's name, but you should check it out when you have the time!

@Masterkey

Alice, Ohhh I tried reading the first one of that series a long time ago and didn't read past the first couple of chapters. I guess I should try again.

@ThatBackgroundSlytherin

Breadcrumbs and The Real Boy by Anne Ursu are really good. The Cronos Chronicles are also by her and are good as well. Beast by Chawna Shroeder is good. And, of course, I'm always gonna recomend The Maze Runner series. Big fan of that.

@Neon_Gravestones_Try_To_Call_For_My_Bones-(It's MK)

"Scorched" and "Shattered" by Mari Mancusi are both really good. "Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda" by Becky Albertalli is also amazing (the movie that recently cam out, "Love Simon" is based off this book). "Finding Zasha" and "Saving Zasha" by Randi Barrow were great books too. "The Trouble Twisters" series by Garth Nix and Sean Williams was a great series I recently finished. "The Land of Stories" series is the one I'm reading right now and so far, it's really good as well.
