How do y’all still pass without studying???

I'm good at tests and I retain just enough information from class that combined with common sense, I get As and Bs with the occasional C

I did! I took the AP United States History exam and got a 5.

Same! I also got a 4 on the AP Environmental Science exam and that was surprising for me 😂 I b.s.ed my way through it.

I have a photographic memory. I look at it once and retain it. It's a blessing and a curse.

Im apparently just really smart, but i almost fail half the time because i dont care

I'm in all the top classes for freshman year, any advice or study tips besides just memorizing?

Highlighters, and changing handwriting styles. Also music. Chew mint gum while studying, and chew mint gum taking the test. It brings back information. (There is scientific evidence.) I also record myself saying notes, (this is exclusively for math for me) and then play it back to myself.

Studying makes me perform worse. I guess I just let things incubate if I get it first try, then I do well on tests and stuff. Studying takes too much outta me.

I got so mad over how bad my grades were and we had a reading quiz and I read the article the period right before that.
Best reading quiz grade I ever got.

I mean, I sort of studied for the APUSH exam but I get waaay more out of doing the voluntary work than from reading my notes.

1) I'm an auditory learner, so I remember a lot of what I hear during class if I'm paying attention
2) My memory, while pretty hit or miss, is pretty good when it comes to school stuff
3) I do the homework (and some voluntary work)
4) Idk I'm just kinda smart I guess? I did the IQ test last summer and did pretty well, and I've always been a ~gifted child~

I only learn well through hearing if the teacher is perfect or if I get to talk too.
My memory sucks. But it sometimes is okay with school. Lotta the time it isn't.

At my college you keep it for a time but wipe the whole thing before you give it back.

I’m great with straight memorization but sadly most of my classes are application of info

idk how to explain that the dumb school stuff normally sticks in my brain. even when the class is confusing for me (looking at you chemistry) by the end of the week, I'll have it down, and then after the test I just delete it from my brain
