Actually, I'd like to write a mini essay on this. Why is the right fascist? My theory is that fascist extremists have been pushing the right to their side for so long, that "liberal" (in the American sense) views, while normally would be very moderate to even conservative, are seen as "leftist trash" at this point. Eventually, saying "gay people shouldn't be executed for existing" will be seen as a radical leftist point of view.
