@Masterkey

Hmmm yeah… Well I guess we'll see. I love how detailed the world and plot are, it's pretty amazing how every book is taken to the next level of exciting every time.

I know right! (And I particularly like how beautiful everyone is. There's never "too much" for that)
I wonder what power is Sophie going to unlock next?

@Masterkey

Yeah her powers are one of the best parts of the story. But she barely uses them, I feel. I dunno, it kind of seems like the publisher is making her drag out the story to make more money? At least, that's how it felt in the last book.

Oh, also The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann

Is still on first book

@WriteOutofTime

A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemmingway (it's sad but great)
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradburn (yes it has boring moments but overall it's really good)
The Lord of the Flies by William Golding (creepy but worth it)
Their Eyes were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston (so, so, good)
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (i know, i know, but it's actually really well written)
The Scarlet Pimpernel and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy were already mentioned but damn,,,,,these books are my faves,,,…
The Chosen by Chaim Potok (really heartwarming and also I never knew that much about Jewish people after WW2)
Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card (literally the BEST sci-fi I've ever read. So perfect. Read this.)

@rot-baby-rot!

  1. Nimona by Noelle Stevenson (It's a comic about a shapeshifter, an "evil" scientist, and a knight, and it's one of my all time favorite stories ever)

  2. The Gideon Trilogy (Two children get sent back in time to the year 1763 and meet a former cutpurse named Gideon Seymour who tries to help them get back home, meanwhile people freak out in the twenty-first century. All three books are amazing, though the ending to the last one is a little sad and I ended up sitting on the couch sobbing after reading it)
