I love anything from a Broadway production (especially Hamilton) but some songs that pump me up are:

  • HOLD ME TIGHT OR DON'T - Fall Out Boy
  • Rise - Katy Perry
  • Live Like Legends - Ruelle
  • The Phoenix - Fall Out Boy
  • Tomorrow Never Dies - 5 Seconds of Summer
  • This is Me - Keala Seattle (The Greatest Showman)
  • Wait For It - Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton)
  • Welcome to the Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

and anything from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies XD

@disneyfanatic7

Really anything by Taylor Swift, especially the faster ones such as "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things," "Better Than Revenge," or "I knew You Were Trouble." I also like "Why" by Sabrina Carpenter.

@Bandito

One I really like is "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men and pretty much anything by Twenty One Pilots and Fall out boy or Imagine Dragons.

I LOVE ALL OF THOSE

@OrionTheWolf

A few songs by Lord Huron have a very foresty feel to them, so coming from someone that has more than a few plot lines that take place in large, lush forests, those are very inspiring (The songs are "Meet Me In The Woods" "Night We Met" and "Love Like Ghosts"). When looking for plot lines that take place in more dystopian or post war theme, I try to listen to Imagine Dragons or Starset ("Rise" "It Has Begun" and "Demons" are a few of my personal favorites). When I want more of a romance feel to what I want to write, I try to find stuff from the Hamilton soundtrack or Marina & The Diamonds. "Do I Wanna Know" by the Arctic Monkeys is also a good song that could be used to get inspiration for multiple different genres (from what I've seen).

When I hear “young as the morning old as the sea” by Passenger, I really get inspired to just sit down and write <3

@FantaPop

I've got a tonne of fantasy-inspired songs if you want them, lmao
The Cauldron Born - Damh the Bard, Witches Rune - S.J. Tucker, Mordred's Lullaby - Heather Dale, Stonehenge - Kellianna, The Willow Maid - Erutan, etc., etc.. Though, I have listened to Jonathan Young's Dark Horse/ET mashup a few more times than I'd like to admit. ^^;

@Celestial-B

Ohh I found some other things that I like!

Supermarket flowers: By Ed Sheeran (its rlly sad D:)
I write Sins Not Tragedies: By P!ATD
Any Lofi song: Its a type of music not a band and it helps me focus on writing
I Miss You: By Clean Bandit

And that plus the ones before is all I listen to besides some other country songs

Non-Stop from Hamilton. If Hamilton can write 51 essays in 6 months, then I can do whatever it is that I don't feel like I can do.

These are some great suggestions! Thank you.
