"I'm M-Mar." Mar shrunk away a little from Ayuni.

"Nice to meet you. So, you have telepathy, huh? That's pretty cool." Ayuni said, trying to make friends with Mar.

"H-How did you-?!" Mar's eyes widened, and she scooted farther away.

"Well, your friend asked you what I was thinking, and you answered her, so, it was kind of obvious." Ayuni said, truthfully. "I'm sorry. Did I upset you?"

"O-Oh. I didn't think y-you had heard…" Mar was basically pressed against the car door.

"Uh…well…" She gestured at her wolf ears. "Kind of hard not to with these things."

Mar blushed.
"I-I guess so…"

"Yeah. If you want to know my gene mod, basically I have the speed, strength, eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell of a wolf, plus the same abilities of a human, so…basically I have super senses." Ayuni said to her.

"Oh. C-cool." Mar shifted awkwardly.

"Yeah, I guess." Ayuni said. "What's not cool is what they did. I mean, yeah, I like my abilities, but I'm just mad that they experimented on me like that."

Mar nodded. She tried not to remember what they did to her.

"So…what's your name?" Ayuni asked the driver, turning to glance out the window.

“To you, Elizia. My name in full is a bit long. And foreign.” She looked Ayuni over and noticed the quiver and arrows, “Where’d you find the kit?”

"In that store." Ayuni said, pointing out the window. "I also found some throwing knives, and a pocket knife."

"And who's that?" She asked, gesturing to the girl next to Elizia.

Eliza glanced at Azalane, then back into the rear view. “That’s her business, not yours. For the moment you can call her ‘sleeping beauty’.”

"Ok." Ayuni said, smiling. She turned back to the window, watching the scenery go by.

"I have family in Korea but I hadn't talked to them in a while even before this all happened. I should be able to find a place to stay somewhere." He answered, his accent a bit more apparent now that hes more comfortable around the 2.

Felix nodded. "I see." He didn't want to ask too many questions. Asking questions meant that he would have to answer some himself, which he didn't want to.

Finn nodded as well. He remained silent for a second. ”so what city are you guys going towards after we get out?”

"I'm not sure, hopefully far from this place." Jae answered, trying to thing of where he could go. He could go back to where he lived prior to joining the lab but he sold his apartment before volunteering.

"I don't know. I thought about meeting up with the others in Augustton, just to make sure they're fine." It wasn't like Felix cared, but he didn't really have anywhere else to go so why not?

Elizia pulled in to Augustton’s public parking lot, overloading the ticket machine to avoid the toll and sliding into a spot at the bottom of the lot. By now, the night sky had fallen upon them, and Elizia felt her own eyes drooping low.
She knocked on the back door from the outside. “Ya’ll awake back there?” She called, “C’mon. We need to get movin’.”
