Mar opened her eyes slowly, blinking away her nap. She opened the door, sliding out.
Mar opened her eyes slowly, blinking away her nap. She opened the door, sliding out.
"The others? Oh the people I saw you with before?" He asked a bit confused.
"Yeah, them. I mean it's not like they are my friends or anything, but I wanna make sure they are fine anyways. I have no idea why, people aren't really my thing." Felix shuddered a bit.
Ayuni opened her eyes and got out of the car, stretching her legs. "So, where are going now?" She asked, turning to Elizia. "I mean, are you guys looking for your families or something?"
Elizia rolled her eyes. “Do you ever stop asking personal questions?” She snapped, “I’m going to my workshop at the middle edge of town. You don’t have to come with me. No one does. But I’d like you to, Mar. Ayuni, it’s all up to you.”
"Sorry. I would like to come with you." Ayuni said, glancing around the parking lot.
"I guess that makes sense, I know it's probably going to be tough to trust any organizations or anything after all this." He answered, Jae hadn't had much of an issue trusting these two but he figured it was because they were also escapees.
“I’m heading to Augustton anyway. Mind if I tag along?” He asked his smile turning slightly nervous.
"Whatever, if you want to," Felix answered. "I can't really stop you from following me, can I?" Something about Felix's smile said that he probably could, but he wouldn't. They had gotten outside the door now, and he felt much better now that they were out of the building. He stopped, breathed the air in, and turned to Jae. "It's up to you. Come with us or go alone."
Jae thought for a second "I'll come with you guys if you don't mind. I'd probably get lost otherwise." He answered hoping he wasn't being a bother.
"Then come on," Elizia replied.
The group made their way closer and closer to the street before Eliza noticed Ayuni's ears. Without warning she grabbed Ayuni and slammed her against a wall.
"Heya, sorry, just sit tight. Big fluffy ears either needa go, or need to stay hidden. Throw that hood on before you get Mar and I in trouble."
Mar had been walking in the back of the group, and when Elizia slammed Ayuni into the wall, she squeaked.
Jae thought for a second "I'll come with you guys if you don't mind. I'd probably get lost otherwise." He answered hoping he wasn't being a bother.
"Fine." Felix looked around. "But there's one tiny detail in this that might cause a slight issue. We have no freaking vehicle."
Ayuni nodded and pulled her hood over her head. She glanced at her tail, wondering how she would hide it, or if she would even need to.
Elizia tracked Ayuni's gaze, "Your tail can just stick close to your leg. Bend the tip up to blend into the galaxy part of your hoodie," she said as glanced out at the dark outdoors, "It's dark enough outside to where shadows should keep you reasonably concealed. Just try to avoid lights, and don't strike any conversations."
With that she walked out into the street, the cool air sliding around her, through her jacket. The streets were quiet, for the most part. A few strangers taking late night jogs or laughing and stumbling out of the local bar. A couple folks were just leaning back against buildings smoking or on their phones. This city was perfect.
That why you picked it out, Brella? No one around to bother you, just honest folks trying to enjoy life? That's a pretty good reason.
So why would you come home?
Jae thought for a second "I'll come with you guys if you don't mind. I'd probably get lost otherwise." He answered hoping he wasn't being a bother.
"Fine." Felix looked around. "But there's one tiny detail in this that might cause a slight issue. We have no freaking vehicle."
"Thats, that's a good point…Maybe there are vehicles somewhere else around the lab? I find it hard to believe that out of all the lab workers none of them had vehicles." He offered up the idea.
"Could work," Felix muttered to himself. "But let's say we find a vehicle. I can easily pick the lock to the doors, but unfortunately I can't make it run. Does any of you know how to do that?"
Finn shook his headband. Believe it or not he’s never hot wired a car before.
Felix sighed. "Okay then. I guess I'll have to give it a try if we find one. I mean, it can't be that hard, can it?"
"I think I might know how, I've never actually done it but I could try." Jae offered, he had helped his uncle out a lot in his mechanics shop when he still lived in Korea.
"Great." Felix smiled, but it didn't really reach his eyes. "Let's go find a freaking vehicle, then." Without waiting for response, he started to walk around the building.
Jae followed after Felix, keeping his eye out for any cars. I hope we can find one, other wise that's going to be a hell of walk.
Finn followed along. He knew he wouldn’t be able too but if he had too he would try walking all the way to the city.
Felix hadn't found a car yet, but he had found a tree. "Hang on, there's something I wanna do," he muttered to the others. He took his armyknife out of his pocket and stabbed it repeatedly into the wood in a pattern. When it was finished, he backed of, tilting his head at his creation. "Done." Carvings in the wood now said; 'Felix was here'.
