Cronos smiled.
"Nice to meet you Kye, I don't know much about you other than the fact that you are somehow related to Tolkalee and Seth. Those two are a fun duo, huh?" he giggled as he stated what he had stated.
Sebastian raised a brow.
"He's too kind and too nice sometimes. It's hard to find him hurting a fly to be honest" he answered as he continued to guide Loki through the hall.
"Two minutes!!" Martin's voice echoed through the halls.
Aisen cursed mentally which ultimately ended up ringing in Hinata's ears other than to himself alone.
Hinata broke into a run, near the exit. Normally, she would have chuckled at the accident, but now was not the time.
Arriving outside, Hinata would see Aisen with the butterfly warrior on his back and his brother beside him.
When Martin spotted Hinata and Jay, he stopped the clock.
"…fifteen seconds left, congratulations…" he gave the group a slow clap.
"As I promised, and I am a man of my word…" a corruptor phased out of Martin's body as the physical body of the warrior laid on the ground.
"Now…" the corruptor knelt down in front of Hinata "… end my misery for me, dear respected Balance Keeper"
Hinata looked down at the corruptor kneeling before her. She set Jay down lightly, then stood as she drew her sword.
"As you wish," she said, swinging at the corruptor's neck.
The corruptor, either expectedly or unexpectedly, didn't try to counter or block the attack in any way. The head of the corruptor came off and fell on the ground, rolling slightly before stopping.
"Right, what's left again? The Paradise Realm?" Aisen asked.
Sebastian raised a brow.
"He's too kind and too nice sometimes. It's hard to find him hurting a fly to be honest" he answered as he continued to guide Loki through the hall.
Loki let out a suspended breath of relief "sorry i've just been having a… hard time here" her sentence ended with a sigh consuming the words
"I think so," Hinata said, looking the the corruptor's head for a moment before turning to her blade. She wiped it off before resheathing it.
"Shall we get going?"
Sebastian nodded.
"I understand, I fully understand" he replied as they reached the portal that'll take them to Karat's hallway.
"Go on" Sebastian gestured towards the portal.
"Definitely," Aisen and Cassius said in unison as the younger brother opened yet another inter-dimensional portal to that specific realm.
Loki walked through the portal and waited for Sebastion on the other side
Hinata nodded. She looked at Martin and Jay on the floor.
"And of them?" She asked.
Sebastian walked in soon after and started guiding Loki through the hall again. This time, the halls they were in were full of golden gears, wires, and machinery. The walls were of a golden hue and looked relatively expensive.
Aisen set andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) down as well.
"We can leave them here, we come to get them later" Aisen suggested. He was more worried about the last corruptor than the safety of these three.
a breathless "wow" escaped from Loki's lips as she took in the hallways
Something that could only be assumed as a church door stood in front of Sebastian. The half-robot boy opened the door and peered inside.
"Doesn't look like he's here…" he suggested.
"BOOO!!!" A pair of hands grabbed onto Loki's shoulder right after Sebastian said his latest sentence.
Loki flinched but didn't scream and she flipped the person that had put their hands on her shoulder over her onto their back
"Geez, aggressive much?" the figure dispersed and reformed out of Loki's grasp.
"Hi, I'm Karat Landes, the mortal and mechanical Marquess of the Labyrinth, nice to meet you" the figure introduced as their actual clothing phased into view.
"you shouldn't sneak up on a lady like me. and the pleasure is mine. Sorry if i hurt you i just don't like being spooked" Loki chuckled then extended her hand "I'm Loki Hyakuya and you seem to have amazing eye for decorating"
Aisen set andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) down as well.
"We can leave them here, we come to get them later" Aisen suggested. He was more worried about the last corruptor than the safety of these three.
"Alright then." With that, Hinata stepped through the portal.
"Acknowledged, and it's just part of the job" he took her hand and shook it firmly.
From Loki's angle, it was clear that Karat had one normal blue colored eye while his other one was a red mechanical eye. His clothing phased from a normal sweatshirt to a white and golden mage robe.
Through the portal, Hinata would find scythes upon scythes upon scythes upon… basically, there are scythes everywhere on the battlefield. The Alchemist can be seen in the distance, running and dodging a crazed small being who Hinata has met before; Narok. Alongside the Alchemist was Jackal, the pumpkin man from the Celestial Hall. They were being chased by hundreds of scythes and were still able to survive for this long.
"Are you a mage? and not to pry but did you build that yourself" Loki hoped he knew she was asking about his eye and knew her own could change color at any second. she thought that today they might have been steel blue but she wasn't sure
"To the first question, that's debatable and for the second question, indeed I did. Yours also looked quite fancy if I do say so myself–" Karat answered and added before Sebastian cut him off by clearing his throat "–I was just joking, I'm not a flirt and you know this Seb" the Marquess turned to the Knight and spoke with a sarcastic tone.
"and even if he was i am a married woman so his tricks would fall flat" Loki chuckled a defense for Karat
Hinata blinked a few times. She had most definitely not been expecting this.
"O-Okay then," she said lowly, staring at the chase.
"Right…" Sebastian replied plainly.
"Well, what are we doing talking outside like this? Come in" the partial royal invited Loki inside his house.
Jackal turned to see Hinata and gestured something towards her. He pointed to Hinata's pocket, gesturing a lion's face then pointed to Aisen, miming a dual sword get thrown. He jumped up, dodging an attack from Narok before he continued to run. He gestured to the several metallic scythes on the floor then at Hinata. He smiled confidently, hoping Hinata would understand him.
Hinata understood… most of it. She was never exactly good at charades.
She pulled the Leo uniform out, putting it on.
