Cassius physically nodded before the gray area disappeared after exactly one minute.
I need to communicate that to Aisen real quick he sent, moving to avoid being captured by the camera.
Aisen said if you’re the one who got through, make sure to not hurt Martin physically and just slash behind him
Kye moved down the hall, stopping every so often to listen to what was going on around him. He could hear spirits talking, sobbing, screaming, what have you. He could hear several things flying above them, and he could hear things in different halls walking around.
Once around five minutes passed, they reached the deeper halls of the Royal Building as Selik did help Kye through the halls.
“So, how long have you been in here?” He asked, breaking the silence.
Got it. You boys ready? she asked, preparing for the attack.
Kye thought for a moment. "By this point I've been here for exactly sixteen minutes and seven seconds. This is what I get for just walking through a cave and thinking that today was a nice day. The universe just looooves proving me wrong. Also you said that this has happened before?"
More than ready Aisen nodded physically as he sent the message. He focused energy on his sword as it glowed a blue aura.
Cassius smiled as his strings formed to a lance shape and gave out a red radiance.
Give us the signal
“Yeah, but that was like… decades ago” Selik replied.
“Back then, the one who decided to do that was already taken care of” he added while playing around with his powers.
"Sure, but that just proves something," Kye continued. "If I'm correct, and I won't make any assumptions, but last time, did it play out a lot like how it's playing out now?"
“Not exactly. There were a lot of things that changed, especially on the action side of things” Selik answered.
“People have their theories on who this ‘traitor’ may be but we can’t be so sure yet”
"But what I'm getting at is that, handling this in violence, only results in more violence. There are other ways of solving this that doesn't involve violence. While I know there are some situations where violence is inevitable and sometimes it's the only way to get a point across. This is a situation that could be handled without it," Kye finished as they reached the building. "What exactly am I going to be looking for here?"
Hinata herself had swung to behind Martin, swords poised to attack.
"Now!" She said, charging.
“Uh… well, can you sense sin in people? Weird question, I know but that’d be helpful” Selik nervously asked as he started opening the door of the building. The pressure inside the building made its way out, blowing with massive strengths.
Aisen and Cassius came from their respected angles; none of them were in the same plane.
Martin closed his eyes and smiled though when he saw this.
“Achromatic Hemisphere…” he spoke up silently as the three people were all frozen in a grayscale dome.
“Smart… but not smart enough I’m afraid…” Martin opened his eyes, revealing crimson colored irises with a sharp edge.
Well, shit, Hinata thought to herself. Things were not looking so hot.
“I’m gonna honest with the three of you, I like you and your determination so… how about this…” Martin turned to the three people around him and smiled.
“The butterfly boy and the dragonfly boy are inside the palace. I give you all ten minutes to find them. If you can indeed find them, I will leave this warrior’s body. If not, well, do I even have to tell you?”
Hinata didn't need to be told. And there was obviously a catch to this; she just wasn't sure what it was.
Martin released the three.
“Well? What do you think?” Martin asked, holding his camera by his chest.
Hinata scowled slightly.
"We don't have much of a choice here."
“Then… your ten minutes start…” Martin’s camera turned to a staff “…NOW!!”
The doors of the palace opened on their own.
[Where will you go?]
[1st Floor (Left)]
[1st Floor (Right)]
[2nd Floor (Left)]
[2nd Floor (Right)]
[3rd Floor (Left)]
[3rd Floor (Right)]
[Underground Chamber]
[Attic]
[Rooftop]
[Rooftop Clock Tower]
[Hourglass Chamber]
[Time Prison]
[Back of the Palace]
With that, Hinata took off, heading to the attic.
Aisen and Cassius also ran somewhere inside the Palace.
Within the attic, Hinata is to be met with Jay’s body with his armor shattered beside him. He didn’t look the best; having bruises, cuts and wounds all over his body.
“Uh… well, can you sense sin in people? Weird question, I know but that’d be helpful” Selik nervously asked as he started opening the door of the building. The pressure inside the building made its way out, blowing with massive strengths.
Tell him you can, because I can.
Uh, okay.
Kye nodded to the knight. "Yeah I can sense it in a way," he instinctively held up his arm to shield his face as the doors opened.
Sighing in relief to have found Jay, she kneeled down next to him.
"You don't look so hot," she noted.
Selik nodded.
“Alright… then a person with tons of greed and wrath is what we’re looking for” he continued as he walked inside the building, holding the door open for Kye.
Jay was unconscious as no reply or answer was given. He was not dead though.
You found someone? Aisen asked mentally.
