Myrna didn't feel like standing up, so she stayed on the ground. She shivered, just realizing how cold it was, and her father must have noticed because he wrapped her in his cloak. Myrna returned her papers to the pocket on the inside. Her eyes stung. Twenty-two-year old child. Perfect.

(I don't know how Myrna's condition will make itself clear to Theron and Equis because, of course, Myrna can't remember. Since there will be nobody later in the story to explain it, I want one of the characters to at least know what is up with Myrna. Maybe not be her friend, but an old classmate or something like that who knows about her 12-hour memory to explain it to Theron and Equis. I just feel like the rest of the story will be confusing if not all of the characters are on the same page.)

(Maisie is just Myrna's distant cousin who came to visit because her mother made her. Myrna is on the ground reading her medical files, her dad and caretaker are there, and Theron and Equis are discussing their confusion in the corner)
