"There are…?" the fairy whispered, staring blankly at the spot where the human had taken off from, processing his thoughts. He knew it. This outer world was indeed full of many new things, some good some bad, that were unspoken of back in the fairy realm.

Adohira started questioning himself, wondering if the reason why fairies were separated from everyone else was to keep away all the outside quarrels and conflicts the rest of the world was having. Kitsune fighting dragons over a cherry blossom tree grove? To him the reason seemed very small and quite foolish to start a war over, but hey, he lived in a different world and had different ideas.
A part of him felt weak against the events that had happened and the information he had received, making him feel small - he was already quite weak when it came to magic, but now he felt powerless.

But another side of him was feeling hyped, begging to know more and explore around. He had always been a curious fairy, far too curious for his own good and no matter how many times he had been scolded by others for trespassing over the border to go into the human realm, he had only grown more curious with each visit. Not even he could understand why he was so fascinated by the human realm - maybe because it was different? He didn't know.

"Where's Met by the way?" The god's name had made him snap out of his thoughts and return to the present. He hadn't seen the man since he had tried to calm down the cultivator and the dragonelle. He scratched his head, looking around for the god, unable to find him

Username: Altrince

Name: Yumeka Kaito (夢叶 快斗)

Nicknames: Kai

Age: Over six thousand human years but has the appearance of someone in his early twenties

Gender: Male, Bisexual

Appearance: 5’9”. He has straight shoulder-length, natural black silky hair of which ends have turned white due to time. He has the word ‘Yume (夢)’ which means ‘Dream’ imprinted in blue on his left cheek. He has cruel, heterochromia eyes; his left is blue, his right is ghost white. His skin is pale and cold except for his hands which are warm and pleasant to the touch.

Usual clothing: He wears a gray yukata that has white roses as patterns down its ends and white lapels. He has a long bandage which he ties around his lower face, covering the entirety of his mouth at almost all times. Wooden sandals, a fan in the colors of light gray and blue.

Personality: Despite his somewhat scary looks, Kaito is a cheerful man whose wish is to bring people happiness. He’s a bit too active than his job requires yet it’s great for his job that he is that active. He doesn’t know his own limits and is willing to risk anything of his own if it makes someone happy.

Favorite Food/Drink: Takoyaki, Sakura Mochi, Lemon Tea

Skills: He’s surprisingly good at mind games especially when it comes to persuading someone to do something. He’s also an expert in the kitchen.

Fears: Sadness, Depression, Pain, Suicide, Death

Magic:

  1. Kaito is the embodiment of a Baku (Dream Eater). When he opens his mouth, he is able to swallow people’s bad thoughts and nightmares to give them a better time. Though he has his limits. Taking in too much ‘blackened thoughts’ will result in him fainting without any warnings.

  2. Trained for so long, Kaito is able to make someone faint by draining out their thoughts within the scope of five to ten seconds depending on how many thoughts are running through that said person’s mind at that time. This can take up a huge portion of his energy.

  3. He has an extraordinary hearing ability, giving him the capability to hear conversations behind closed walls faraway from him.

Background: Kaito was the third generation of Dream Eaters of the Yumeka family. When his father passed away due to an incurable illness, the duty was passed onto him without any training. The first hundred years of his job was stressful but after people started sleeping less during the night because of the development done, his job became significantly easier. Being the only member of the Yumeka family alive, he’s a freelancer at this point in time.

Other: Kaito hates any creatures which cause people fear as they make his job much harder than it should be. He also tends to faint a lot. He’s also a little sneaky, stealing small things from other people whenever he gets the chance.

Slowly… the young man crept behind a male figurine he could only classify as a fairy. There was a smile behind the man’s bandages. Getting closer to his target, the feaster giggled as silent as a pin drop.

Slowl— ahh!! Once again, plan failed. He had stepped on a branch and had created a loud cracking sound behind the man he was trying to scare out of pure boredom.

@Kinarymo

Adohira whipped his head around at the sound of the branch snap, jumping back a few steps, wings open half way as if ready to dash into the air.
"What are you doing?" he questioned, holding his hands close to his chest. It wasn't the man's presence that had scared him but rather how close he was, and behind him nonetheless. The fairy considered his back to be quite vulnerable, given his prized wings were there, so anyone trying to ambush him from behind made him nervous

The man jumped a bit before regaining his posture. The bandages around his face moved a bit, revealing the word that was marked on his face.
“W-Well, I just wanted to scare you a bit that’s all” he answered with a nervous giggle as he scratched the back of his neck. His voice was young, quite clear but crisp. He was also quite short for a man.
“I was just bored, okay?” The small male pouted with crossed arms and a faint blush.

@Kinarymo

"Still, it's not nice to scare people like that!" the fairy squeaked, fluttering his wings nervously.
He wasn't mad at the new comer, but he really didn't like surprise attacks from behind. You never know what hidden intentions one might have.

The man laughed nervously.
”Yeah… sorry I guess” the young looking man apologized as he tapped his feet.
”By the way, what were you all talking about?” he asked, looking at the group of ‘people’ around him.

@Divine_Emperor

(oh)
Ouyang Shou appeared gently on the ground, his body prostrating as he looked sadly at the grave.
"How long has it been my love, I miss you, your cheerful laugh, your happy face, everything…" Ouyang Shou sad as a tear fell from his face.

@Kinarymo

Back at the border between the human and fairy realm, Adohira took a step back from the strange man, still not trusting him 100%, even though he had apologized. He looked back at the large dragon, then towards the tree where he had last seen the god and lastly back to the man.
I came back here to retrieve my choker." he stated, pointing at the dark leather strap around his neck, tied together with red strings.

@Divine_Emperor

Ouyang Shou sighed as his hands touched the smooth gravestone.
"I-I no longer know if what I'm doing is right, but I hope it is." The man talked to the gravestone as if it were a person. After a few minutes, he disappeared. Reappearing above the last known location of that fairy.
(who is still doing it?)

@Kinarymo
