The actual god tensed in the bushes as he stopped beckoning the fae and shoved his hand in the other’s mouth as he just kept blabbing. It was obvious the pair of them were something of in danger from this Human person. He snuck around so he was behind the dragon, crouching as small as he could go. His mind and his heart were racing as he watched with his icy eyes, biting his lip to stop himself from calling out for help from other gods. But he had to trust this dragon, right? It was big and scary enough.
Adohira blinked in confusion when Met covered his mouth. He had never seen the god so tensed before, in all the days they've known each other. Well, he couldn't say he knew Met too well, the man was fairly new on the job and he had only met him the handful of times he was caught crossing the border into the human realm, but beside that he really didn't know anything about the god.
He quietly followed the god as he sneaked behind the great blue beast near them. He had never seen a dragon so up close before, so his eyes were glued to the creature, studying its shining blue scales and graceful body, his entire being in awe of the dragon's aura of might and beauty. He bit his lips, his wings twitching a few times when he finally noticed the fourth figure nearby, holding the sword.
A human. An armed menacing human.
(Renegade Immortal is a book i just started to read, A world worth protecting is another good one and it has comedy.
There are some other books but you may or may not like some of their genres.)
"Answer God" Ouyang Shou said, the sword energies inching closer every second.
He isn't deaf right, A thought came to mind but he quickly shook his head at the absurd thought.
"How rare is a god, many would want their body, so I urge you to quickly answer otherwise," He stopped at the end, his eyes staring at the being.
Truly a fantastic body, excellent for producing Cultivation pills without any side effects.
Ouyang Shou sent his Qi energy towards the three, circling them like a vulture.
((whoa there, now thats interesting, i like where the guy is headed >.> Thx for the recommendations))
Her head swayed back and forth, eyes flitting constantly between. The spines along her back remained fully flared upwards, pupils thin slits that were nearly lost in the vast blue of her gaze. There were 2 behind, the fae and god, then in front was the human. The dragonelle's lips remained curled back, showing sharp fangs. At the moment, the ones behind her didn't seem to be holding any hostile energy. The air that surrounded them was more so seeking to escape, escape the gaze of the man. To the dragonelle, they were not considered to be the threat, at least for now. Should one wrong move on their behalf, and she would see them also as enemies, but so far as long as they remained placid, she would do them no harm.
Blue eyes shifted back to the man. The human she felt was the largest threat, weapon drawn and some energy which now seemed to be circling around them. Yet the dragonelle didn't seem bothered, she had her own abilities.
The dragonelle's lips remained curled back, voice a calm growl, "You really are unaware of whom you stand before human. To test a dragon or dragonelle is something I advise against…less you truly have a deathwish."
The whiskers on either side of her muzzle swirled as the air around her seemed to grow heavy, letting her own power be known to those around her. Those blue eyes seemingly pierced straight through the human, as if looking straight into his soul. The blue flames continued lick at her muzzle, as if getting ready to release the very flames from within the confines of her powerful form.
Ouyang Shou smiled coldly at the dragonelle,
"Don't think I don't have ways to deal with you…." He said in the draconic tongue.
He then focused his attention on the other two. The sword energies that had once been a few metres away now were right at arms reach, all aside from a few that had found themselves pointing directly at the god's kneck.
Now, Ouyang Shou had pulled out his other sword, a masterpiece. There was a direct contrast of aura when compared to his other sword as the newly appeared sword gave off a gentle, kind and peaceful aura. Coupled with the other sword, Ouyang Shou gave off the temperament of a dignified emperor.
If the monkey sage can go against you, so can we. He thought as he gave it a twirl.
(The monkey sage is a Chinese mythological character who went against the heavens. He was also called The Great Sage Equal To Heaven.)
Met ducked away and backed up behind a tree, near the bush he had been admiring. He hid his tall self and looked around for help, his cheeks flushed with fear. He had never been under a threat before and he didn’t think he liked it, much. He scaled the tree with slight difficulty and perched himself up into the heart of it, keeping himself as balanced as he could among the branches. He tried to calm his racing heart as he watched the swords turn up to follow him. He didn’t like this at all.
With Met now hiding in a tree, Adohira found himself all alone. On one side there was the big blue dragonelle snarling at the human, on the other side he had those multiple sword energies pointed menacingly at the god; what could he do?
He didn't possess great magic, nor was he capable of facing the human, who had pulled a second sword out. The human's cold glare coupled with his menacing aura and the two shining blades of the weapons made him uneasy. Everyone around him was so tense, it was too much.
"uuh, excuse me Mr. Human, sir" he started, his voice slightly weak, but trying to sound calm. "Can you please not threaten everyone here with umm, those weapons of yours? We weren't doing anything wrong, no one was."
He slowly got up to his feet, taking a few steps back while holding an arm out towards the man, in a defensive manner, his wings extended half way and rapidly twitching, prepared to dash away should things take a bad turn.
"Also, please don't do that to my friend, he doesn't like it" he continued, pointing at the god in the tree, whose pale color betrayed the fear concealed behind the calm expression
(you know of Sun Wukong * v *)
"A sheltered fairy are you" Ouyang Shou said coldly as he made the energies surrounding the fairy disappear.
"How weak are you, abandoning mortals to live in pain while you hide behind the border" He said as he stared into the fairy's eyes.
I should probably consider the consequences of killing a god and my cultivation is rather weak. Shou thought before very annoyingly letting him go.
"Be lucky my cultivation isn't powerful enough to fight the rest in heaven…" Ouyang Shou said unwillingly.
He then turned his attention to the dragonelle.
"Well they are too insignificant or their status is too powerful to harm, but I really can't say that about you." He said in draconian tongue while smirking coldly. The sword energies then reappeared, this time facing the blue beast.
(Course i do,)
Insignificant? I’m not insignificant… Met thought indignantly, frowning heavily. He was the God of Thought and here he was hiding up in a tree— albeit a very pretty tree— No! I can’t get distracted. He hopped silently down from the tree (as silent as he could) and landed with a soft grunt. He hid behind the bushes and cleared his throat a little. He didn’t know what to do or say, but he didn’t want this dragon to get hurt. Well, if that was possible.
Her ears twitched, listening intently to the world around her. Movement, behind her. Seemed the god being had retreated to the safety of the trees, the fairy close behind. That was fine, that would mean there would be less between her and the major danger before them. The god and fairy she still considered not the greatest of threats, for they hadn't drawn any weapons or shown any hostility whatsoever. This man, on the other hand, had drawn his sword, calling upon that strange energy.
Her own blue eyes were piercing, pupils remaining thin slits nearly lost in the vast blue. The beast's tail began to lash back and forth in a frenzied manner, the spines along her back fully flared, tips pulsing bright blue.
"You are either brave, or foolish."
The dragonelle's head lowered ever so slightly, ears laid flat back against her head, "Let it be known man, if you could even spill my blood and leave my body cold and lifeless, the village I guard will come searching, but it is not them I would worry about…"
Her voice lowered into a dangerous growl, "As a beast of my power and standards, I have connections to others much older and more powerful beings than all here."
It was true, despite being in her 2,000's, there were indeed beasts and other dragons much older than her, some whom have even forgotten their own ages due to having such long lifespans, or perhaps not even being able to die…
"Sheltered fairy…?" the boy whispered to himself, being slightly confused by the man's words. What did he mean by 'hiding behind the border and abandoning mortals to live in pain'? He didn't understand. First, the rule system was the one who forbid him to pass to the other side or interact with humans and now this guy was shaming him for hiding behind the border like some sort of coward?
"But… I'm not hiding at all" he said, starting to walk slowly towards the human, his fear being slowly replaced with curiosity and intrigue
"The world inside the border is the one not letting me go, isn't that right Met?" he turned his head around towards the tree, looking for the god, but blinked a few times in confusion when he couldn't see him.
"Met? Where did you go?" he questioned, turning his back on the man to look for the missing Met. "Strange, where did he go?" he thought to himself before turning back to face the human, now only a few feet in front of him, talking with the blue dragon behind him. Being a magical creature himself, he could understand most dialects used by other magic species, so when he heard the word exchange between the two, he tried walking between them, arms reached, trying to calm down the atmosphere.
"No need to fight please, no need! Can't we all just calm down a little and talk it through??" he squeaked, keeping an eye on both to make sure he wouldn't get caught in the middle if the two eventually did clash. "There is no need to- is that my choker?" he interrupted himself, noticing the black leather strap near the dragonelle
"Don't think that as a cultivating human, I too don't have connections. One for the most part is the ancestor of the Ouyang clan. A Ta Tian 踏天(Heaven Trampling) being who is still alive." Ouyang Shou said to the dragonelle.
" And the part where you say that i'll leave your body dead is laughable. You should know that a dragon's body parts and fire gland is incredibly valuable, perhaps then I can set up my own sect." He said coldly.
Heaven Trampling realm, when someone is even stronger than a god or the most powerful beast. It's a pity I'm not that talented enough to have reached it by now.
Ouyang Shou ignored the boy as he continued to look at the dragon.
((This is giving me MTXT novel vibes, all the god and cultivator thing :'D))
(Hey guys sorry but I’ll be offline for a few weeks. You all are very welcome to move on without me considering Met’s not doing much for the situation anymore. I’ll be back on in the maximum of three weeks. So yea.)
((So in order to keep the action consistency, let's consider that Met ran away and is hiding for a while.))
(sure, so @Dragoncita you there?)
((OOC: Yes, I am around. Though Life keeps me busy at times))
(Ok, just waiting for your side of the roleplay…)
The dragonelle glared at the human. Her eyes remained piercing, but the tone of her voice seemed to change slightly. The beast shook her head slightly, "So young, so naïve."
Typical human; all talk, no bite. As the man jabbered away, a sudden chuckle escaped the dragonelle's muzzle. Did he just say 'Fire Gland'? Men were truly blind to the world of gods and beasts. Her chuckle grew quiet again, blue eyes looking towards the man. Truly a blind man, as she was no 'fire dragon'.
"As an Elder Wyvern from a land far away land said; 'Man's life is too short to learn the gods' will. You are blessed in your ignorance.' "
She suddenly moved, sitting down on her haunches, tail flicking a bit. The man's assuming nature instantly made him more of a laughing stock to her now. However, despite it, he was still the largest threat here. The beast's eyes suddenly shifted towards the fairy. His choker? Did he mean this leather strap?
Instinctively, she drew her treasure closer to her body, between her front legs. Her tail snaked around, coming to curl in front of her front paws, blocking the choker from view. The pale orange dragon's blue eyes continued to glow brightly, pupils remaining thin slits. The blue spines along her back remained fully raised, tips pulsing bright blue now and then. Though, out of the corner of her eye, she was keeping watch, should that man try something.
"I found this leather strap. It does have the scent of fae on it, but how should I know if it belongs to you."
That draconic nature was suddenly becoming more apparent. This was her new treasure, it was going to her hoard. The fae could be lying about it being 'his', to get it away. The territorial draconic nature declared that this treasure was now hers, it belonged to her now. She wouldn't let someone take it from her.
Lips once again curled back, growling, "It's mine, back off."
It was probably a bit aggressive, but she was a dragon after all. As such, it was wise to consider her like any other wild beast. Give it space and respect, and the creature would leave you alone. But if you were to keep pressing and backing the creature into a corner, it would retaliate in an aggressive manner in order to protect itself if it felt threatened.
"But that's mine…" Adohira softly whimpered when the dragonelle hid the small leather strap with her long tail. He took two steps towards the creature, arm reached towards the lost possession, but it was too late, the choker was no longer in sight. He let himself fall on the ground on all fours, before slowly shifting to a knelt position, his long raven hair gently brushing the ground as he moved.
"What do you mean it's yours? That's so rude, it's not even big enough to fit at least on one of your claws or spikes, let alone your neck." he cried, his purpleish blue eyes slightly starting to water. "How should you know it's mine? It should smell like me, should it not? Or do you mean to tell me that all Fae smell the same? You call yourself a great beast, yet you cannot tell if the choker smells like me or not. How insensitive!"
He took a small pause, to wipe a few tears that had unwillingly started to flow on his cheeks, his wings rapidly twitching in frustration. Never in his life had the boy been concerned about clothes, as he rarely worn them anyway, but that small choker had always been very important to him - it carried great emotional value and he treasured it dearly. Losing it was a horrible tragedy and he'd be willing to do anything to get it back, even if it meant going against a dragon
Ouyang Shou smirked as he glanced at the innocent-looking child before looking back at the dragonelle.
"Young, for the monsters of this world I suppose that is true, but I assure you one thing, I am an Immortal, a cultivator and, your reason for death!" Ouyang Shou said coldly before sending every single sword energy flashing down on the giant lizard.
No wonder grandfather managed to earn the title of Dragon Killer,
Ouyang Shou ran quickly to the dragon, bouncing off one tree and landing on another, each step or movement filled with qi.
"Roaring Nine Dragons of Kuruma!" He shouted as nine dragons appeared, each with nine tails. They all came with each swing of the sword, completely covering it with sword intent.
The excess qi from which the sword technique had used was absorbed back into him as he came into the air and started to spin like a boomerang, grabbing his other sword, they quickly turned into a blur as the swords were covered in lightning.
"Lightning Hell" He quietly thought as the lightning turned pure black and blinded everyone in its surroundings.
(Ohno they gunna fight ;0; )
((OOC: Working on a post, as I am also responding to my own RP as well))
