Seong passes that though through his mind and out his ear. He's thinking of more ways to avoid people but also fight when he has to.
I have my wings so I can move around easily. But I am a bigger target. I can be a sniper. Dang but I am good in close combat.
He just starts laughing.
"What are the odds huh? The homeless guy gets picked. Huh maybe if I get killed I can get out of this cruel world…"
He says out loud to Kai but then he goes into his thoughts.
what if….. Malakai…. Can I trust him? I'll be on my guard but I will for now.
Blaise shrugged. “I’ll most likely just charge into he thick of it and get myself killed.”
Ash raised an eyebrow delicately. "That sounds like… possibly the worst idea I've ever heard, but all right, then. I don't suppose you'd want to team up, would you?" She asked, sounding like the answer didn't much trouble her.
Royce followed Ara to the bar. He got a pack of chips and went back to his seat. He opened it and started eating it like a child.
Blaise snorted. “I would like it, but I would most likely get you killed. Think carefully. Are you sure you want me as your ally?”
Ara glances at him and snorts before pulling the knife from the wall. She puts it back in its place and sits down again, not bothering to eat anything. “So,” she says calmly, drumming her liking fingernails on the table, “Can you generate ice and coldness from thin air, or does there need to be moisture?”
Blaise snorted. “I would like it, but I would most likely get you killed. Think carefully. Are you sure you want me as your ally?”
Ash tilted her head. "As long as you don't go charging into a battle with the express purpose of dying, then yes. Though, you'll have to stay away from my hiding spots when we camp," she said, already planning ahead, "that way no one will see me. And I can teach you some camouflage as well, so you're not completely defenseless."
“Thanks,” he said, feeling relieved. “Well then, sure, I guess.” He paused. “And can you fight very well? I can teach you if you want.”
Ash rolled her eyes. "Believe me, I know a thing or two."
“Whatever was you say.” Blaise leaned back in his seat. He knew that he had a bed somewhere on the train, but he was too lazy to go there. He was exhausted, and needed sleep.
Ash leaned against the window beside her seat, stretching her legs out. She wasn't sure it would be possible for her to get any sleep, but she could at least try.
Sighing, Blaise tried to fall asleep, and soon managed to, although it was a right one.
Ara glances at him and snorts before pulling the knife from the wall. She puts it back in its place and sits down again, not bothering to eat anything. “So,” she says calmly, drumming her liking fingernails on the table, “Can you generate ice and coldness from thin air, or does there need to be moisture?”
Royce set down the pack of chips and wrote something on his notebook.
There needs to be moisture, he got out a bottle of water from his bag and opened it. He poured out some and it immediately froze when he looked at it directly. He smiled at what he made. As he touched it, the ice turned to water within seconds and then to vapor soon after.
He flipped the notebook where something else was written on it.
Or you could say that I can change any body of water, no matter how large or small. Though of course, my energy will run out if I use it too much
Ara tilted her head. “Huh. But it doesn’t matter how much?”
Royce shook his head.
As long as there is water, unless it is too thick of a liquid then I can’t control it he added with another page of his notebook.
He went back to enjoying his chips with a childish smile.
“Too thick? Is that even a thing?” Ara held out her palm and a long, shimmering icicle grew.
Royce shook his head slightly before writing something else on his notes.
I’m talking about liquids like syrup or ketchup
It might be a bad idea to sleep here, maybe I should go look for my room (his thoughts).
“Oh. Does ketchup even count as a liquid?” H icicle melted, and Ara yapped her finger on the table.
Royce wrote something as he shrugged.
I suppose not he voicelessly laughed behind the notebook he held up to his face.
Ara raised an eyebrow. “Whatever.” She shrugged and stood, starting to pace. Ice followed her every step, and crunhed as she put each foot down.
Kai shifts in his seat, feeling a little bored. So, he decides to look out the window.
Seong found a comfortable position to sleep in. This'll probably be the last time he'll get a good night's sleep for a while. He doses off while the train runs smoothly on the tracks with a big bump here and there.
Ara raised an eyebrow. “Whatever.” She shrugged and stood, starting to pace. Ice followed her every step, and crunhed as she put each foot down.
Royce, literally, followed her footsteps. He evaporated every ice pool Ara made when he stepped on them. He smiled politely on his own as he walked. He carried the notebook in his hand.
