Ara threw another one at him, this one bigger. She laughed as it hit him, eyes sparkling in a way they hadn’t for years. Her ally certainly knew how to have fun.

Royce saw how happy Ara was. He smiled as the other snowball hit him. As long as she was having fun, he enjoyed it. He voicelessly laughed and threw a small snowball at Ara when he sat up straight again.

Ara blocked it and threw it back. Soon, there was snow all over the room, and she couldn’t care less. She didn’t seem to notice how childish she was acting.

Royce was literally covered in snow. He had his notebook pass the snow.
Maybe we should stop and clean up?! was written on that page so Ara could see.

“Probably,” she agreed. “But that is easily done.” She snapped her fingers, and the snow swarmed into the air and danced around like a mini storm before gently landing, creating a snow sculpture

Seong-Jin looked at his teammate or whatever she was once they got I to the rooms.
"don't be useless and die"
He abruptly said to her then he calmly lies down on his bed and sighs.

Royce looked at the snow sculpture and looked around. He grabbed a bottle of water from the kitchen counter and poured it on the floor. He glanced at the pool and it started to form into something. He was creating a small ice sculpture of some sort. When the sculpture was finished, the excess water was returned to the bottle and revealed a miniature version of Royce himself. It looked exactly like the one he had on his notebook’s cover. He smiled and set it on his bedside drawer.
You want one? he turned to notebook to Ara.

“Did you dare that?” She asked. “And yes, I do. But not one of you, because that’s just weird.”

He wrote something.
Of course not of myself, that would indeed be weird he voicelessly laughed.
He poured out the remaining water in the bottle and started to sculpt something with its frozen counterpart. When it was finished, he set it on Ara’s bedside drawer. It was a miniature version of Ara. Bonus, it was a mini version of her with her arms crossed and she was pouting.

“Did you seriously give me puppy eyes?” Ara asked, raising an eyebrow. “Because I must say, it is way more terrifying than in real life. That is an expression I hope to never wear.”

Royce looked down at his notebook and wrote something on it.
Can you try to make that expression for me so I could do it better? Maybe? he knew that that might annoy Ara slightly, but it was worth the shot.

“No,” she grumbled, sounding more like her usual self. “Of course not.”

Eh… fine, what would you like the sculpture to be then? he wrote on another page as the miniature Ara sculpture he made melted then evaporated and surrounded him.

“Something that isn’t me looking like an idiot,” she said. “Other than that, I don’t care.” She was becoming more and more like her usual self as the time went on.

Royce nodded and started sculpting the ice again. When it’s finished, the sculpture was revealed to be Ara in a fighting stance which looked… relatively aggressive.
The ice is pretty sharp, so be careful he showed her.

“I’ll be fine,” Ara dismissed. She put the sculpture on her bedside table and moved to the door. “I’m going to go explore. I’ll be back soon.” She though about asking him if he wanted to come, but decided that she shouldn’t act too nice.

Royce nodded and waved slightly with a smile. He looked around and waited for Ara to leave.
(Let’s see how Royce acts when he’s alone shall we?)

Ara stepped from the room, and started down the hall.

After the door closed, Royce immediately changed his personality…
He got out a semi-wet cloth and started cleaning every square inch of the room. He wiped dust off of every furniture and cleanse them one by one. When he was finished, everything in the room was visibly stainless. He then laid down on the bed and enjoyed the small rest.

Ara passed several doors,, and snorted when she saw the decorations for the other tributes’ rooms. The people here really didn’t care about what they preferred.

Royce looked around the room, looking for something to do. He dangled his legs on the edge of his bed. He saw a blank canvas… that looked extremely out of place in the room and went to pick it up. He raised a brow at it but shrugged. He saw that there was also a canvas stand and a stool. He blinked violently before he set the canvas on the stand, sat on the stool with his personal palette at hand. He put on his earphones and started painting while waiting for Ara to return.

Finally, after about an hour and a half, Ara came back. The whole thing had been worthless. She had found nothing of interest. A morgue would be more fun than that place. She opened the ice door and raised an eyebrow when she saw the clean room and Royce painting. “Someone’s been busy,” she remarked.

Royce took off one side of his earphone and nodded with a tender smile. He turned to canvas to Ara.
Does this look good? he turned that page to her. What he painted was a scenery of a lake and a mountain during sunset. The lake seemed to represented the one near the Water District and the mountain looked like the unique one from the Earth District.

Ara nodded, sparing the painting barely a glance, but still secretly admiring it. “Better than a thug I could ever do.” She pulled back the curtain to her side of the room and flipped down into her bed. “This place is a dump.”

Royce wrote something on his notebook while still on the stool.
We can always decorate it if we have the time, maybe we could talk to the other districts as well while we’re at it?
He looked around the room, looking for a place to hang his newly finished painting.
