Zoe walked into the kitchen. "Morning." She said in complete exhaustion. "Also nice breakfast." She added before yawning.
Zoe walked into the kitchen. "Morning." She said in complete exhaustion. "Also nice breakfast." She added before yawning.
Josiah glared at Zoe for one to two seconds, then continued pretending not to notice her or anything else in his surroundings. If Zoe had read his message, it was probably best for no interactions today.
God, that toast was delicious!
Cicada ate the toast. It was delicious. She wondered where the rest of her crew was, they had things to discuss.
"Gods the weirdest thing happened last night. There was some random origami swan on deck last night, but it was really pretty. " Zoe replied as she dug in. "Man this is so good."
Josiah grinned to himself - Zoe hadn't opened it yet! Just as Houston came stumbling in, crystal eye more hazy than ever.
"'Mornin everyone. Hey - french toast! Who made it?" He jounces, sliding up into his seat next to Orion, who was being very grumpy (as people were in the mornings) and grunted at his arrival.
(Was that too controlling of Orion?)
(Yes. Especially since his rper hasn't checked in yet. So until he does Orion is not to be used, shipped with, or anything else. He is Ca1Ca1's character.)
(I'm sososososososososo sorrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I will never do that again I pinky promise! :( :( :()
(Oh no it's fine! It's just if Ca1Ca1 comes on then you can do stuff. He hasn't been on in a loonnnnnng time. Supposedly seen yesterday, however can not be confirmed.)
(the sightings! lol alrighty then continue)
"I believe Risley did," Cicada responded, "Don't quote me on that."
Ah, so perhaps I shall hate on Riseley today! Josie thought to himself, before sagging again. No, I'm too tired. I'll just sleep all day, I think. Finishing off his toast, his threw his plate like a Frisbee, landing just an inch away from Cicada's, almost knocking hers to the ground. So close.
Houston, meanwhile, was immensely enjoying the food and barely noticed Josiah's attitude.
Cicada stood up scowling at Josiah, "You are to stop or you will walk the plank. You chose to join us, so act like it."
"Has there ever been a time where I haven't done my duties? I'm still one of you by strict definition. And besides," He spoke for the first time in days, "I can swim." And with that, he went sauntering back up to the crow's nest for a good day's sleep.
"Oh, god, Cicada," Houston commented, eyes wide. "What are you doing to do about him?"
Zoe rolled her eyes. "Attitude." She mumbled as she finished up. "So what are we going to do today?"
"I have absolutely no idea. We're just sailing…to where exactly?" Houston looks up so violently that his crystal eye (which wasn't correctly place that morning anyway) falls into his juice.
Cicada groaned as she lay her head in her hands. A member of this crew must get along with others. Josiah was new, so he wasn't a member yet. Besides anyone could do his job. She had two problem children, and one asked about the other. Swimming yes he could do, however if he was tied up then he most definitely couldn't. Yeah she might do that, "Someone stop me or else I will murder him."
She stood up, "We're sailing to Onyx. Getting some supplies and then heading out to sea again."
"Books? I love to read, you know. And please kill him before me, if you're going to kill anyone. You said yesterday you didn't hate me after all." Houston replies, still a happy morning flower. He'd be back to his old self after breakfast.
Zoe shrugged. "What ever you need Cap." She responded.
True enough, after Houston pushed his plate away and reset his eye, he groaned.
"The village back on the island is gossiping about you again, Cicada," He informed her, cracking his joints.
"They always gossip," Cicada sighed, "What about this time? How I'm not doing my 'duty'?"
"How is it?" Riseley asked, walking though the door, "And don't give me that face. Yes, I made it, surprise."
They made a face and sat down heavily in Houston's old seat.
Cicada looked to Riseley, "It's really good. Thank you for making it."
"Yeah, that and they think you're having a kid with this guy named Oliver who just moved there and for some reason is really shy and stammers a lot. I don't even question it these days."
"What the hell?" Cicada shook her head laughing, "I swear they love doing this to poke fun at me."
"Don't ask me - oh, now they think it's more probable that the same thing happened with Josiah. Ew." Houston finished the morning report and sauntered out of the galley.
