Cicada sighed as she stood up, "I suppose I should check on Josiah. Get him to comply or die."
Cicada sighed as she stood up, "I suppose I should check on Josiah. Get him to comply or die."
Riseley made a show of tripping him and took their foot back at the last second, laughing as he almost-tripped and cursed
(who was Riseley tripping? You said he but Cicada was the one walking out…)
(Houston)
(ah)
"Geez, sorry I didn't thank you for the breakfast - it was great. Much better than leftover sushi." Houston mumbles, nearly tripping over the doorframe on his way out. Probably to play angsty viola music in his cannons.
Indeed, a couple seconds later 'Angsty Classical 2: Concerto for Strings' began to echo from the barrels.
Cicada groaned as she went to go find Josiah.
Josiah sat on the edge of his bed in the crow's nest, letting the breeze ruffle his already-ruffled hair even more while he fingered his crystal mandala.
Cicada climbed up and sat next to him, "Hello Josiah."
"Oh…Cicada." Was his not-ell-thought-out response. The angsty classical filled the crow's nest in a ongoing melody of silence.
Riseley decided that Houston is officially too annoying for anyone's good (or evil, for that matter). They walked out of the galley, to attempt to relax on the deck. If that was possible with Houston's angsty music
"It's captain to you," Cicada pointed out, "So when will you not be a jerk?"
(Was that to Riseley?)
Houston could hear footsteps edging closer to his canon. Popping his head out with an annoyed look, he replied, "If you don't like the music, don't make me play it!" and promptly returned to what he was doing.
(NOpe. Josiah.)
"What's your definition of 'Jerk'?" Josiah responded, looking up from the crystal that he treasured so much.
(I gtg for the night so don't rp with houston and pause on josiah. see ya'll!)
"Hating everyone and refusing to get along with someone."
Riseley contemplated through the nearest available object at his face (a stinky old boot, Josiah's, probably), but decided against it. Oh well. If he's determined to put on such a performance, then he can.
"I don't hate everyone." (He pretty much did.) "I only have skirmishes with a couple people because they set me off, okay? I'm not extremely offended by the entire human race if that's what you think. I can get along well with other people, just not right now!" Josiah argued against the captain. "Besides, after being in a war and shot at by my own people for six years, a break is all I can ask for."
“See now I know your lying. Jade hasn’t had internal conflict for as long as I’ve lived. The wueens grip is much too strong. So unless you’re talking about a smaller rebellion, I don’t believe you. Also from what I’ve seen, you have never once been nice to someone,” Cicada responded. She had people in each kingdom that kept her updated on the politics.
Zoe groaned. Houston was too annoying and Josiah was really being a jerk and showing off today. She figured training would calm her down and not kill anyone today as she went to her cabin and started to throw knives.
Riseley left the cannon area and went toward the storage in his cabin. The noise in that area could only mean someone has moved their stuff. Again.
(Can I join?)
(Sure!)
