Cicada nodded, "Yeah. Zoe wanted some herb and I figured that Onyx was the best place to go. That and books are literally the easiest things to steal."
Cicada nodded, "Yeah. Zoe wanted some herb and I figured that Onyx was the best place to go. That and books are literally the easiest things to steal."
(how do I jump in?)
Zoe finally finished her work before going back up witha a bag. "Alright, are we ready?"
“Waiting for you guys.” River said
(However you want.)
Cicada looked to Zoe, "Yep. Planks ready to go down at the pin drop. I just hope the Onyx port guards don't do a ship check."
"And if they do?" Zoe insisted.
Max walked in and looked around quietly.
"And if they do?" Zoe insisted.
She cracked her knuckles, “they’ll have to deal with us.” She smirked
Houston appeared behind them like an apparition. How had he gotten from inside the cannon to here, was a mystery - but then again, so was Houston. He was holding up his blunderbusses, one more tucked into his belt of cloth. "I don't know about you, but I've got an idea. It involves swimming a distance with heavy things. Who's in?"
"What the Hell Houston?" Cicada looked to him, "We're not sneaking into Onyx. They really don't mind us at all."
"This is in case they do a full ship check. Who'd look for the crystals in the reef? And if we get shooed away, we can get them later, no trouble." A malicious smile crept up one side of his face.
Cicada shook her head. Rookie, "We hide them secret compartments in the ships. They won't find them," a small smile crept on her face, "Though yours most certainly might send a few to their deaths."
Zoe couldn't help but snicker, but managed to cleverly hide it as a cough. Rookie.
(I have no idea where Brooke should be. Lol.)
(Just with the others lol.)
(Have her come on to main deck)
River smirked “we should get going, i want some better provisions than the tasteless crackers I have Benin eating fir 2 weeks.”!
(Lol. All right. Where is that, exactly?)
"But what if they blow up the ship?" Josiah suddenly appeared out of nowhere, crystal mandala strapped to his shoulder - and shoes on, for once. "You don't know how far they'll go. How's the gossip here about us, Houston?" Josiah nods to Houston, eyebrows raised.
"Well - gimme a second, I'm sure it's nothing-" Houston looked up at the sky, crystal eye suddenly clearing, giving a grotesque view of the socket underneath.
"Oh stop complaining. Not our fault you never leave your room," Cicada chuckled as the walkway between the ship and dock was moved. She walked down and nodded to the port guards, they nodded back. No inspection today.
(They would leave the crystals on the ships unless they were hidden in items.)
"Well, someone should stay on the ship, just in case." Josiah leaned on the railing, hesitant to leave this ship that gave him such life unattended. He had….negative experience with guards - from all kingdoms.
(Oops. I was 10 seconds too late…)
Brooke leaned against the railing, listening to the conversation going on. She rolled her eyes at the rookies' comments.
"Geez loosen up, it's going to be ok." Zoe replied as she stood at the plank, ready to run down any minute.
Cicada looked to the crew still on the ship, "Josiah stay aboard. Everyone else, what are you waiting for?! Get down here."
