"Just tell me," Cicada sighed, "I suck at maps. I just know where not to go, not what these symbol thingies mean."
"Just tell me," Cicada sighed, "I suck at maps. I just know where not to go, not what these symbol thingies mean."
"No - use - mine! Please! Give it to me!" Josiah cried, curling and uncurling himself in pain. (I think maybe Zoe should be a bit more worried, this is serious for him.)
(Each Character is different, child.)
(The wild Nerd has appeared, catch her before it's too late!)
"No I'm the medic you idiot, now hold still." Zoe instructed as she started the healing process.
"There are large rocks in the way if we were to go that way, and going around them would add another week onto the trip," Brooke explained.
"Oh, it's that area," Cicada shook her head, "I would rather risk and encounter than loose a week. What other routes do you have?"
(I’m lost as to what River should do)
Brooke nodded her acknowledgment. "All right. If we go this way, it's longer than the other two, we don't encounter other ships or rocks, but there is a small island in the way."
(Um I don't know.)
"It's a middle route?" Cicada said, "Well sort of. Is there any claim to the island?"
Brooke frowned. "No, but Jade has been fighting with Onyx for it."
"Wonderful," Cicada's hand run down her face, "Who controls it at the moment? Jade or Onyx? Any commanders stationed there?"
(Um I don't know.)
"It's a middle route?" Cicada said, "Well sort of. Is there any claim to the island?"
(Mind if she comes in?)
"Neither owns it. It's currently occupied by natives, no one else. They are none too pleased about the fighting," Brooke stated.
(Yeah sure.)
Cicada thought for a second, "We'll use the island route than. Maybe make an alliance with the natives."
Or hopefully run into Admiral James. He always takes interest in the people his kingdom ends up conquering. Not like he wants to anyways.
"Got it," Brooke said, moving to put her maps away. "Anything else you need me to do while I'm here?"
"Just one question. Do you think isolation would be a cruel punishment? Even if said person really deserves it."
Brooke paused for a moment. "I would say that it depends on what they did. If you think it's worth that as punishment, then it is. You're the captain for a reason. Don't be afraid to enforce it."
(Just going to give you a low down on each crystal
Red=Fire: Create and control fire. Does not make you immune. Simple.
Blue=Water: Control water and it's temperature. Can freeze and melt it, however cannot control the frozen chunks. Most times water crystals are paired with ice crystals.
Green=Life: Controlling plants and healing. Can speed up plants growth, but not a full grown tree over not.
Brown=Earth: Controlling earth. Creating earth will use up the entire crystal. So most times these users have multiple on them.
Clear=Air: Controlling air and airwaves. These crystals are the most fragile and get used up quickly if overused.
Purple=Storm: Contains energy created in storms. All the user does is release it, however controlling it takes years of practice.
Black=Dark: Can control the dark and blends easy into shadows. They don't become shadows, however they do get surrounded by shadows.
White=Light: Can control any kind of light, sun is the strongest followed by moonlight then candle. It can store light and create a bright glow. It's the flashlight light.
Lime=Acid: Can create different types of acid. The creation of acid is by placing the crystal into water and adding different herbs. The user can then control the created acid.
Magenta=Psychic: Can read minds and telekinesis. Crystal must be in contact with both user and objects. Users have multiple on them at a time.
Light Blue=Ice: Can freeze water to create ice along with controlling it. It can create a much more fragile ice on it's own without water.
Character's will keep them on their person at all times. The crystal allow each person to control said element with a limited amount. The quality of the crystal controls how strong the power is. In order to use the crystal the user must either infuse it with an item or turn it into powder. The more you use one crystal the worse quality it would have. Hence the importance of keeping the island protect since it essentially 'grows' crystals.
Each crew member specializes in a specific crystal(s), but they are required to have knowledge on how to use all 11.)
Brooke paused for a moment. "I would say that it depends on what they did. If you think it's worth that as punishment, then it is. You're the captain for a reason. Don't be afraid to enforce it."
"Thank you Brooke," Cicada gave her a slight smile, "I think it's adequate for burning half of a town down."
Brooke's mouth dropped open slightly. "I'm sorry, who did what now?!?"
"Houston," Cicada groaned remembering last night, "Houston burned half of the Onyx port town last night. I was this close to murdering."
Her fingers were centimeters apart.
"That guy is going to get himself killed," Brooke muttered.
"I'm aware. Hence the isolation. He's also getting the worse jobs on the ships and isn't allowed to leave. With or without isolation, that last part would be included."
"That sounds like a solid plan," Brooke agreed with a nod.
River knocked on the door “I’m coming in!” She said and waited
Cicada nodded, "Come on in River."
“So, what’s the route?” She asked, seeing the maps open
