"Ok, um don't move, it's going to be ok." Zoe assured him as she used the life crystal to heal him.

Brooke sighed and tore her gaze from the water. She needed to speak to Cicada, so she headed over to the captain's room. When she reached the door, she knocked twice.

"Come on in Brooke," Cicada responded standing up from her desk.

Stepping into the room, Brooke gave Cicada a short nod.
"Captain," she greeted her. "I've come do we can discuss routes to Pearl."

Cicada let out a quick laugh, "That's what I thought. Let's see what you have thus far."

Brooke pulled a couple of maps from her back pocket. She gestured to the desk with them. "May I?"

"Of course," Cicada removed all her papers from the desk and moved them to the floor. Her cabin was messy anyways.

Brooke spread the maps out and pointed to a spot on one of them.
"So this is where we are right now, as you should know." She then pointed to a different place. "And this is Pearl. If we take this route–" she trailed her finger across the map. "–then we'll get there the quickest from any of the others. On the other hand, we could get stopped, which we don't want, I assume. This route, though, would take us around all of that…" She trailed off, biting her lip.

"And?" Cicada was never good with maps. She had always had someone else work with them, but she's the only one with information on Jade's movements.

Brooke grimaced. "It's not so much of an 'and' as it is 'but'… There are certain other… obstacles to get around."
