"I'm a bitch, we'll get along fine." She stretched out on the bed, and smiled. "Ooh a guitar!" She grabbed it, and strummed it. "Needs tuning." And like that she gets tuning away.

"Well… Have fun with that." Teon closed the door behind him and started towards the stairs. He didn't feel like waiting for the elevator– if he stopped moving, he might fall asleep. Teon ran down the stairs and into the cafeteria, where he grabbed a coffee with as much caffeine as he could get. He also bought a muffin– sue him, he was hungry and had money. A few minutes later, Teon was back at his door. He unlocked it and pushed it open.
She was sitting cross legged, strumming away, singing a bit as she played, just enjoying herself.
Teon hovered in the doorway, just watching her play. When Evelyn played an instrument or sang… there was just something about that he… well, that he loved. But he wouldn't admit that to her. Not yet.
"You sound beautiful," Teon said softly, the door behind him closing with a soft click.
"Thanks." She seemed to embody the song, conjoin with it, as her poetry became lyrics and her page became the guitar. She went right back to playing, lost in the song.
Teon crossed to his desk and set the muffin down on the table. He dropped into the chair and took a long sip of coffee, content to just sit there and listen to Evelyn play.
She stopped, embarrassed, never really one to play around others. Not like this. She put down the guitar and pulled out her phone, in hopes of distracting herself.
"To be able to sing!" Teon said to himself, popping a piece of muffin into his mouth. He stole a glance at Evelyn, then took another sip of his coffee and stared out the window.
She reached over, grabbed a chunk of his muffin, and ate it. "I bet you can sing. I sure can't." She shrugs.
"Ha, right. Well, sorry to inform you, I don't sing." Teon gave her a playful glare and stuffed the rest of the muffin in his mouth, washing it down with another sip of coffee.
"Then why do you have a guitar?" She asked, fiddling with it a bit.
"Emrys," Teon replied. "E gave it to me as present, even though I told em I didn't want one." He shrugged. "It's mostly been sitting around collecting dust- - until you picked it up."
She shrugged and smiled. "I love the way she sings. Such a pretty sound, new strings. Fresh and unbroken, with promise in each strum." She smiled and reached up, changed the tuning, and suddenly it was much deeper as she started in on a lower song. "Been playing for 12 years, pains me to see such a work of art sitting around, not being used."
"Well, then, please take it." Teon offered. "As I said before, I'm not going to play it. I think it would do much better in you hands. Actually get used once in a while." He grinned.
(So many dirty jokes) She smiled and hugged it. "Ya hear that beautiful? Get to add you to the family." She drummed her hands on the base of it a bit, and put it back in it's case. "Just gotta name it, and it's part of the band. But. That can come later." She stretched out on your bed, before getting a phone call. "Hello? Oh hey Arrow. Whaddya mean where the fuck am I? You guys ditched me! Huh? Really? Well stick it up your ass." She then hung up and glared at the ceiling.
"Good." Teon nodded approvingly and drank the rest of his coffee. "Was that one of your friends?" He asked curiously. "The way you reacted sure sounded like it."
"Yeah. Greg. Idiots." She huffed and hugged one of your pillows, obviously angry.
"Well… Obviously. They left you here with nothing but the company of, and I quote, 'an ass'." Teon leaned back in his chair. "I mean, who wouldn't want to hang out with you and all your, " he waved vaguely at Evelyn, "super aggressive and enthusiastic charm?"
"Right?" She shook her head. "I mean what's not to love!" She was faking confidence, as you noticed her smile didn't reach her eyes. She laughed and got up, grabbed the guitar, flipped you off, and headed off to her room, smiling. But as soon as she was in her room she cried. She was very sensitive, really. Especially when she had tried to commit suicide just 3 months ago. She wasn't doing okay mentally. So even the smallest insult hurt deep.
Teon shook his head at her, but noticed her fake smile and frowned slightly. He didn't know exactly what was making her sad, but it made him sad, too. And a bit uneasy. Maybe he should go check on her.
She sighed as she calmed down and went back to her guitar, playing slower having lost her Passion now. Just doing it as a distraction.
He didn't even know where she was! Well, she was a floor above him, but where? Teon sighed heavily and got up. Mind as well become the least favorite. Again. But at least he would know Evelyn was okay.
She eventually got bored, turned on some music, and stretched out, trying to think of what would be the least unhealthy to cope. Well that would be cuddling but, her new boyfriend was being a dick, so she decided to just sleep. Better than cutting or anything.
Teon took the stairs up and stared down the hallway. He was about to resign himself on just knocking on random doors when he heard faint music coming from one of the rooms. He went straight to the door and knocked on it.
"Augh Linda, I don't need your fucking cleaning services, go AWAY!" She then chucked a shoe at the door, it making a heavy thud. "And if you're one of my friends, you ALL ARE ASSHOLES! Fucking DITCHERS! And if you're my boyfriend, quit being a cock headed idiot!" She turned up the music and buried her head under the pillow. The door, was unlocked mostly because she forgot to do that a lot.
