"Ha we're the hatred team!" She laughs, tucking her hair back with a wide grin. "Awesome. Someday we'll be sent on a mission where we're supposed to die and end up succeeding anyways. Who knows, we may become as big as Deadpool. That would be pretty cool." She nodded in agreement with herself, as she took out her phone, and checked it. "We're supposed to report to her office in an hour or so….aw man. Means I won't get to go to the mall when I wanted too. Which means I'm gonna get back later than I thought, which sucks cause I wanted to go do some more training, maybe work on a new piece of tech. Oh well." She pouts a bit.
"Oh, yeah. If that happens, I want to take a picture of her face and frame it." Teon grinned. "Put it on my wall, where all can see it." His smile fell a little. "An hour? Well, at least she won't wake me up!" Teon looked at Evelyn. "Too bad about your plans, though." The elevator doors slid open and Teon hopped on.
She stepped in as well. "Oh well. I'm just glad we don't have any lessons tomorrow. Though they are installing a new battle simulator and I'm excited to try that out. I broke the last one…" She laughs, awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck.
"You-" Teon broke off, grinning like a mad man. "Of course you did. I wouldn't expect anything less." He pressed the button for his floor and stepped away from the door.
"Well look. It's not my fault that my tech ware and weapons are more powerful than some dumb simulator. A lot of our fellow trainees were happy about it anyways, they were dreading it cause they wanted to work out more. Afraid of failing. Now they've had plenty of time to get better. Or ignore the time line and fail anyways." She shrugs. "I did everyone a favor. And besides The Headmistress has to much money. What's a few million to her?"
"The simulator is pretty stupid." Teon poked the button again. "I have to admit I was pretty happy when it broke. Unfortunately, it didn't inconvenience the Head Mistress as much as I'd hoped it would. Since, you know, she has so much money."
"Oh well. This one is supposed to be more realistic and better. It's the newest version." She shrugs.
"I guess we'll see the next training day," Teon said. A few seconds later, the elevator stopped and the doors opened. "Well, I'll see you in an hour. I wonder what she's going to say?" He wondered, starting out of the elevator.
She nods, and presses her floor number. "See ya then!" She waves excitedly, and as soon as the doors close, she sighs. "Shit…I think I'm catching feelings for that asshole. He's cute. And not the piece of dick I thought he was? Oh well. I'll definitely consider him a friend."
"Bye!" Teon gave Evelyn a dainty wave, then spun around and walked slowly down the hallway. His thoughts swirled and spun dizzyingly. He didn't know what he'd been expecting to come out of this trip, but to become… acquaintances (at the very least) with Evelyn was not something he'd thought would happen. And yet… she wasn't as bad as he'd thought. Teon groaned and shook his head. I can't be anything more than friends with her, he thought. And yet a small part of him whispered, what if?
She headed off to her room, happy to nap, and in an hour her alarm went off, and she quickly raced off to the elevator, and got in, happy to see you already in there and no one else. "Ya know, I bet headmistress will be surprised but happy that we are friends." She smiled.
"Oh, yeah. She'll be thrilled." Teon leaned against the wall of the elevator. His hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail, strands of curly black hair framing his face. "Do you have the voice recorder thing?" He asked, sticking his hands in the pockets of his jacket.
"Yup!" She holds up the one after fishing it out of her jacket pocket. "Which means we can stop arguing all the time. Less class drama. Which is good because Brianna's boyfriend just broke up with her yesterday. God it's like highschool all over again here. At times, anyways."
"Good. It would be terrible if we lost it, after all of that." Teon grinned. "Oh, he did? Wow. Poor Brianna." He scoffed. "Stars, it really is. I'm not a fan of that part, at least."
"Agreed. But oh well. Se la vie." She shrugs. "Well her and Julian had been dating for less than 2 months. I like to keep tabs on the stories so I know what to involve myself in, and whose side to take if need be. Julian broke up with her for me, I kindly told him I have my sights on someone else, and told him to fuck himself. So. Usual stuff."
"You turned down Julian?" Teon gasped. "Who the do you have your sights on that would make you turn him down? He's really hot. And, I mean, he's kinda… annoying, but still." He gave Evelyn a confused look.
"He is fuck boy heart breaker hot. Yeah he's got a 6-pack and a good dick, but so what? I'm not for that. I like connection, someone I can relate too. I'm pan and so I like heart, emotions. All the gushy cheesy stuff that guys don't seem to like all that much. Anyways I can't tell you who I'm crushing on. But. The first letter in his name is T."
"I mean, I totally agree." Teon nodded, then looked at Evelyn in mock outrage. "Hey! As a guy, I do like all that 'gushy cheesy' stuff." He paused. "Can't tell me? Is it someone I know?" Teon mused, tapping his chin.
"Maybe." She shrugs. "One of our classmates anyways." She shrugs and sits on the ground.
"Huh." Teon gave her a sharp look, then glanced at the elevator screen and made a face. "These things go so slow, don't they? You'd think, with all this money, the Head Mistress would get some faster, newer elevators, right?" He stalked over to the doors and poked the button a few more times, then walked to the back of the elevator and leaned against it again.
She huffed and sighed. "His name is Teon. He's an ass but cute, and sweet and quite the ass. But kinda bittersweet. And. I wonder what would happen if I were to kiss him right now."
"What?" Teon's mouth fell open, slowly curving into a surprised smile. "Bittersweet? That's a nice-" He broke off, his smile growing wider. Teon said nothing more and just stared at Evelyn, wondering what she would do next.
She took a step towards, him, then another, until their foreheads were pressed together, and put her hands on your cheeks. "Does he taste bitter, or sweet? Or sour maybe?"
"Who knows?" Teon asked, still smiling widely. He was honestly surprised by the turn of events, and he could feel his heart start to beat faster, especially when Evelyn put her hands on his cheeks.
She looked him in the eyes, then went in and kissed him. Softly at first, but pressed deeper as her arms dropped to his shoulders and brought him in closer.
