"She-she gave me a reason to do something, first and foremost. And I hate it but-her death was what sparked the decision in the first place." Celeste bit her lip, closing her eyes for a moment. "I'd-appreciate if what I told you stayed between us, but I wouldn't fault or resent you for telling someone. My father was very obviously a horrible man. And that evil in his soul…led him to kill my mother. And then-and then I killed him."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Sue's eyes widened. "Oh. I'm sorry, Celeste." She said softly. "That must have been hard." She looked down at her feet again, unsure of what else to say.

@croccin-champagne

"Incredibly so. You shouldn't apologize though." Celeste said, turning to look at Sue. The colors of her eyes swirled between dark blues and greys, sadder colors, but there was a certain…steele to them. "Besides, I would do it all again, for the sake of the people he might have hurt. I just wish I could have saved his previous victims, including my mother."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Sue nodded. "Oh…" She inhaled slightly. "And that's why you're so worried about King Soren and his alliance." She realized. "You thought he would be like your father."

@croccin-champagne

Celeste's lips pulled up into a smile, weary and slightly strained, as she nodded. "I did. The thought of coming here to find a man with the same lack of morals as my father almost kept me from even leaving my cottage."

@croccin-champagne

"It was…surprising, to find that out." Celeste turned her gaze up to the ceiling, running a hand through her hair. "He really is a good King? A good person?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Sue nodded. "Most people think so. The nobility don't like him 'cause they think he's too young an' they want his uncle on the throne, but…the rest of us like him."

@croccin-champagne

"Then I'll believe it." It was a relief, really. Celeste kept asking, and Sue kept giving her the same answer. Nothing ever changed. And that was relieving, knowing that he really was a good guy.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Sue smiled slightly. "I means…there be a lot of rumors floatin' around about him, but nothin' too bad." She said, glancing over at Celeste for a moment. "Is there any other shops you be wantin' to go too."

@croccin-champagne

"Everyone's got rumors. That's how you know people know who you are." Celeste said, wrinkling her nose slightly at the mention. "Doesn't mean we want them, but hey. Oh, yeah! Clothes, after paying here, if you don't mind being dragged along?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Sue nodded. "Yeah." she agreed, then she nodded. "I'm fine with that." she said with a small smile. "The checkout counter is over there." she gestured, then put her hand back down by her side, fiddling with her skirts slightly.

@croccin-champagne

"Then let's get this show back on the road. I definitely got side tracked talking about all of this." Celeste said with a small laugh, despite the shadows still clinging to her eyes as she led the way to the checkout counter. "Bracelet or necklace? Or anything else, if you've got something else in mind."

@ElderGod-Icefire

She chuckled softly. "Hmm? What do you mean?" she asked, frowning slightly. "Bracelet or necklace…?" she raised an eyebrow, fidgeting with her skirt again.

@croccin-champagne

"It's a surprise. Pick one, and you'll find out later." Celeste promised, winking as she gently dumped the items in her bag out onto the counter. "I'd pick on my own, but I know some people don't like certain things. I don't like bracelets, but I'm fine with necklaces. It's odd."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I'd prefer a necklace, then." Sue said softly. She looked through them, and picked an inexpensive one, with a simple charm on it. "There." She set it on the counter, biting her bottom lip as she wondered what it was for.

@croccin-champagne

"Jet and pyrite." Celeste muttered to herself, fishing around the pouch at her waist and pulling out a coin purse. She nodded to the older lady behind the counter, paying for the items and putting them back in her bag. The necklace, she handed to Sue. "There you go! I'll have the agate fixed into a necklace for you in no time, too."

@croccin-champagne

"It's nothing." Celeste said, smiling over at Sue as the bag of things she'd bought disappeared into her pouch, along with the money pouch. That many things definitely shouldn't fit in something that small, but Celeste closed it without problem all the same.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Sue nodded, and watched her put the stuff away curiously. "How do they all fit?" She asked. "In your bag, I means." She bit her lip slightly.

@croccin-champagne

Celeste blinked, looking from her pouch to Sue and then back again. After a moment, her brain seemed to catch up with the question. "Oh! I met this woman in Jiya a while back, who had the peculiar ability to make something larger on the inside than it was on the outside. Here!" She fiddled with the pouch, pulling it off her belt and handing it over to Sue. "Go ahead, peek inside."

@ElderGod-Icefire

("larger on the inside than it was on the outside"….do you…do you mean the TARDIS? Celeste r u the doctor? sorry hopeless Doctor Who fan haha ignore me)

Sue looked inside curiously, and her eyes widened. "Wow." she glanced back up at Celeste. "That's…that's amazing! Could you fit…what could you be fitting in there, exactly?" she asked, looking back down at the bag in amazement. "Like…how big of a thing? An' could you put something alive inside?"

@croccin-champagne

((Pokeballs were more my thought, or Hermione's bag. Though you know, Celeste would make a decent Doctor. From what I've gathered, at least))

"Probably, if I tried. I don't really see a reason to put anything alive inside, so for now, it'll have to be a mystery." Celeste said with a laugh, shaking her head. She hadn't ever tried, so she really wasn't sure. Maybe she could, maybe she couldn't. She didn't really care to find out right now. "If it can fit through the opening of the bag, it can fit in the bag. The actual space inside there is kind of a mystery to me, but I've yet to run out of space. I think the biggest thing I got in was a lute. The dimensional warping of the magic used affects weight, too! Things weigh much less inside of it, meaning I can carry around all sorts of things!"

@ElderGod-Icefire

(ah alright. Haha she would)

Sue nodded, and handed the bag back. "It's real cool, miss Celeste." She thought for a moment. "But it seems t' me that you're limited by what can fit through the opening. If you could somehow make it so's it weren't limited by th' opening, you could be fitting a lot more in it."

@croccin-champagne

"Probably. But everything I've ever needed to fit in here has fit, so I'm not too concerned." Celeste said, reattaching the bag to her belt. "Though, I guess if the opening had more of a drawstring type thing, it might open up the possibilities."
