Kami stopped to think about it. "Tour please! I've always wanted to have a proper look at Mewni but…well…you know. Not many people like demons even though they've accepted monsters."
Kami stopped to think about it. "Tour please! I've always wanted to have a proper look at Mewni but…well…you know. Not many people like demons even though they've accepted monsters."
“Ah, good choice.” She paused and turned around, giving Kami a smile. “Yeah. It’s just. . . irritating. They’ve accepted monsters, but not many people have accepted demons. I just find it unfair.” She turned back around and continued walking and bit her lip, drawing a bit of blood.
"We're not too different, either. I mean, just because I have horns and a tail, and three eyes. Why does that make me any different? And it seems that people hate me more because I'm half human too."
"People have and will always be like that. They're discriminating you just because the way you look, and honestly, that's just fucked up." She continued down the road. "If you look to your right, you will see a make-shift sign with the words forest of certain death. It's. . .highly infamous for being extremely dangerous to go into. Apparently, my mom, your papa, and his family wandered into the forest one time."
"Like yes, I understand that I could wipe out your village in mere minutes with my fire, but I'm not gonna do that. Because that's not right." She paused while Ember continued talking. "Oh yeah, they told me about that. It's interesting? From their stories, at least."
Ember nodded. She turned quiet for a moment, just pretty much think of something irrelevant to the tour.
"Yes, interesting to some extent. I was never really that interested on what happened that day, so when mom told me stories on what happened that day, I was barely even payimg attention."
(hey sorry, i've been really busy lately)
"Well, you need to pay more attention then," Kami joked. "But to be fair, I didn't pay attention much either. So you're forgiven. However, this means that neither of us know what we;re doing."
(Yeah, I understand. I've been busy lately too.)
"Yes, that does indeed mean that. But it's not like we're going to take a trip into the Forest of Certain Death. We'd have to be extremely insane and extremely brave to do it." Ember replied.
"One of us is a wuss, and it's not me," Kami teased. The Underworld and Mewni were two vastly different places, and Kami had been going to dangerous places since she was a kid.
Ember glared at her friend. She could just let Kami go into the forest all alone, but that wouldn't be right. Besides, Ember was Kami's tour guide.
"So much for hoping that the tour would be a normal one," Ember said as her fingers traced the letters of the sign in front of her.
