Roman chuckled. "You're making this whole thing very amusing, and I will not shut up because this is funny," he smiled. "You two really do have a bond with each other, though."
"Implying romance is a strange suggestion, but you may be right," Logan admitted, nodding. "Everything is so much easier when Virgil is around. I actually feel a desire to care for myself and focus on something that isn't a project when he's with me. I've never considered romance to be a solution to an issue such as this, but from how I've heard these feelings be described, maybe that's what there is between us…"
Roman nudged Virgil after Logan's response. "I told you~" he smirked. "You guys have feelings for each other, and it's beyond obvious. This is the beginning of love!"
Virgil was very flustered. “I mean- you’re not wrong, but-“
Patton pulled Roman back. “Roman, I know it’s fun for you but…don’t tease Virgil-“ he chuckled.
Janus rolled his eyes, letting go of Remus.
Remus gasped for air. “Finally I can talk!”
Roman quickly apologized. "Sorry, but I do have to admit it was fun." He then glanced at Remus. "Don't you dare ruin this now that Janus has let go of you."
"You guys are ridiculous…" Logan sighed, though he smiled slightly after, unable to act annoyed. "However, as I'm not good with romance at all, how would I confirm that a lot of this is because of an attraction to Virgil? You guys understand love much better than I do, so I have to ask."
Virgil was hiding his blushing face in his hood.
Patton beamed. “Well..you did say you felt more comfortable sleeping if Virgil was there. Plus there’s all the times you’ve helped him whenever his anxiety gets really bad…” he started listing things off.
Remus was about to say something else but Janus sighed, covering his mouth again. “No.”
Logan nodded, seeming to understand. "I guess that would explain some of the feelings I experience whenever he's around. I repress them until I can no longer feel them, but before I would do that, I always questioned what they meant…" He could feel himself start to blush a bit. "Given my reaction as I allow these emotions to exist, I believe you're correct."
He turned to face Virgil, remaining silent for a moment. He was aware that he liked the other and that he felt the same, but he didn't know where to go from there. He felt relieved to let his emotions be actively expressed for the first time in a while, even if the current ones were not exactly pleasant, as he found the realization of a crush embarrassing. However, he knew things would likely start to get better if he remained closer to Virgil, the other being a good reminder and even motivation to Logan for caring for himself.
Virgil removed his hood, his face bright red except for the purple eyeshadow under his eyes. “I…”
Patton smiled softly, nudging Roman. “We’re good at this,“ he whispered.
Remus crossed his arms, annoyed that he couldn’t talk.
Janus sighed.
Logan glanced at the other before averting his gaze, trying to think of what to say. He had no idea what to tell the other, just now realizing what he even felt towards him. It was a relief that he was allowing himself to actively express emotions, though doing so felt rather strange to him at the time. Eventually, he found himself returning his gaze to Virgil.
"I'm just going to say it…" Logan told him, pausing for a moment. "All of them are correct… I do love you…"
Roman chuckled softly, then whispering back to Patton. "Of course we are. And now they're both happier."
Virgil’s blush deepened. “I…I love you too, Logan…”
Patton smiled even more. “Yep.”
Janus couldn’t help but smile a little.
Remus got the urge to bite Janus’ hand. (Because feral friend-)
Logan hugged Virgil tightly. "I will also admit that I enjoy hugging you. It is very nice."
Roman smiled softly. "I'm happy for these two. Now they're finally happy, and I think things will get better. Logan will finally take care of himself," he chuckled softly again, getting an idea. "Never thought Virgil would be the one to get through to someone and save them from a dreadful life of stress, but he suits that form of heroic role well."
Virgil hugged back, relaxing in Logan’s embrace.
Patton nodded, smiling softly. “Virgil knows how much stress can hurt someone.”
Janus glared at Remus. “Don’t you dare.”
Remus made a smug face.
Logan smiled a bit as he held Virgil close to him. He felt calm and relaxed when the other was with him, like things were going to be okay. However, while he was happier, much calmer and finally able to take care of himself, he did feel bad for requiring Virgil to stay with him most of the time, as he would otherwise think about work and stop taking care of himself. He wondered what could be done about that, not wanting to bother the other. He didn't mention it for the same reason, wanting the moment to remain happy.
Roman smiled softly once more. "That's true, but that's what makes this relationship adorable. They'll always be there for each other, and I think we'll see these two a lot happier now that they're together. Relationships and romances where everyone is happy are the best, as then everyone involved can overcome anything!"
Virgil smiled a little, burying his face in Logan’s shoulder. “You’re so warm…” he mumbled.
Patton nodded, smiling. “Exactly!”
Remus playfully bit Janus’ arm.
Janus sighed, used to this. “Remus, I swear to god-“
"I'm not entirely sure how to respond to that comment, but this is nice…" Logan smiled softly. "I'm enjoying this."
"I understand relationship dynamics well, and I can tell you that theirs is a great one!" Roman smiled. "It's nice seeing them happy."
Virgil nodded, much more relaxed in Logan’s arms.
Patton nodded, smiling. “It is.”
Remus continued to playfully nom on Janus’ arm.
Janus groaned in irritation.
Logan held Virgil close to him. "Let's just enjoy this for once. This is really nice."
"It truly is, as they both deserve their little happy endings to this chapter," Roman smiled. "There's more to come, but they have each other."
Virgil nodded, smiling softly as he closed his eyes.
Patton nodded, turning to Remus and Janus. “Uh…”
Remus was still nomming on Janus’ arm.
Janus sighed. “Ignore him.”
"I think we have this all sorted out, so let's go back to my room, okay?"
Roman sighed as he saw what the others were doing. "And this doesn't surprise me anymore, but it's still incredibly weird."
Virgil nodded, leading Logan back to the room.
Patton shrugged. “Fair.”
Janus pulled his arm away.
Remus did puppy eyes. “Jannnnn-“
“No.”
Logan looked at Virgil after they entered the room. "Well, everything's sorted out, but what should we do now?"
Roman looked at Janus and Remus for a moment. "Janus, I apologize for my brother's weird behaviors, but I can't do anything. At least you have him under control." He then turned to Patton. "Again, it's weird, but nothing I'm not used to."
Virgil shrugged. “What do you want to do?”
Janus sighed. “I’m used to this, too.”
Remus frowned. “Don’t be mad, snakeyyyyy-“
Patton chuckled. “That’s okay.”
(Writing Remus is kinda fun XD)
(It seems to be from how you're writing him. XD)
Logan shrugged as well. "Again, I rarely have time to myself, so I can't think of many hobbies or activities that I enjoy…"
Roman chuckled as well. "It's funny seeing them interact anyway. As long as Remus doesn't do anything horrible, it's just entertaining to see him interact with people, so I'm not stopping this."
Virgil hummed, looking around the room. “Hm…”
Patton nodded. “True.”
Janus glanced at Remus. “I’m not mad.”
Remus did puppy eyes. “Are you sure?”
“Yes-“
"You won't find much for hobbies in here, but if you get an idea, let me know," he told the other, looking around the room with him.
"He was slightly annoyed more than anything, but don't worry about it," Roman told him. "Just be glad I'm not in the mood to start a fight with you." He then smiled. "Anyways, you go back to being gay with Janus or whatever it is you were doing. All I know is you like him."
Virgil nodded, still looking around. “Hm….maybe…” he mumbled.
Remus latched onto Janus like a koala.
Janus rolled his eyes, chuckling.
Patton smiled. “Today’s been pretty good!”
Logan focused on Virgil after a moment, sighing. "Again, there really isn't much in here…"
Roman nodded, smiling. "It has been! Virgil and Logan finally started their little love story, and Remus and Janus are doing whatever this is, and I'm loving it," he chuckled, glancing at Remus. "I knew you had a soft side for Janus!"
