"Yeah, it is nice just hugging you, honestly…" he smiled softly.
Roman smiled as he agreed with Patton. "Yes, this is adorable. It's always adorable seeing my brother's softer side, in all honesty."
"Yeah, it is nice just hugging you, honestly…" he smiled softly.
Roman smiled as he agreed with Patton. "Yes, this is adorable. It's always adorable seeing my brother's softer side, in all honesty."
Virgil nodded, burying his face in Logan’s shoulder. He was enjoying the hug a lot.
Patton nodded, smiling. “Yeah…everything seems to be going much better!”
Remus snuggled Janus’ arm.
Janus smiled softly.
"I have decided that we need to spend more time doing stuff like this," Logan told him, continuing to smile softly. "I really enjoy our hugs."
"Everything is going much better, Patton! Everyone is back to being okay, and we have this adorableness to watch!" Roman smiled. "Seriously though, this is a great thing to see."
“Me too…” Virgil smiled softly, still burying his face in Logan’s shoulder.
Patton nodded, grinning.
Remus and Janus were being dorks.
"I never thought I'd love being this close to someone, but I really do," Logan smiled. "This is great."
Roman chuckled watching them. "You're ridiculous dorks, you know. It's cute, though. It's always nice seeing your soft side, Remus."
Virgil nodded, smiling.
Patton laughed a little. “I’m glad we’re all getting along.”
Remus and Janus playfully stuck their tongues out at Roman.
(They’re dorks-)
(Yes, yes they are)
Logan smiled softly at Virgil. "Thank you for helping me realize that love is a wonderful thing and that acknowledging my emotions is, as much as I hate to admit it, necessary. I intend to make progress towards not overworking myself in the future because of you."
Roman nodded at Patton's statement. "For once, things are calm in the kingdom.. The prince and the duke are no longer at war, and everything has returned to a happy state," he narrated in a dramatic tone. "I'd say that's a good ending to this chapter of our story, peace and the dark sides being chaotic dorks." he laughed before sticking his tongue out at the two. "You can't stop me! You are being dorks, and I shall occasionally join in on the fun!"
Virgil smiled softly, looking up at Logan. “I’m glad. All I want is for you to be happy.”
Remus and Janus laughed.
Patton nodded. “I think Thomas is definitely benefiting from the peace too.”
(As nice as all of the fluff is, I know that this requires drama and angst soon)
"I may only now be allowing myself to feel and understand happiness and other emotions, but I want you to be happy as well," Logan replied, his soft smile having yet to fade. "You deserve to be happy as well."
Roman laughed as well, enjoying the rare moment of getting along with his brother. He nodded in response to Patton's statement as he laughed, simply having a good time.
(Yessss- but we need plot-)
Virgil hummed happily, hugging Logan.
Patton playfully nudged Roman.
Remus and Janus started chatting.
(We shall discuss that in our PMs!)
Logan hugged Virgil back, the small soft smile on his face widening a bit as he did so. "You bring me so much happiness."
Roman glanced at Patton and smiled at him. "Did you wanna do anything, Pat? I'm sure I can think of fun things for us to do!"
(Okay!)
Virgil hummed, smiling a bit more. “You make me happy too.”
“Hm…what do you want to do?” Patton asked, grinning.
"I'm glad that I can make you happy," Logan replied with a smile. "I enjoy seeing you happy."
"Hmm…" Roman hummed in thought before getting an idea. "Why don't we go get some of my costumes? I'd like to put on a small performance, but no worries about scripts! It'll be random and according to your tastes!"
Virgil nodded, humming softly.
Patton gasped, his eyes lighting up like stars. “Yes!”
Logan glanced at Roman and Patton, happy that the two were enjoying themselves. "You two have fun," he smiled before turning his attention back to Virgil. "Everyone's happy. I like that. That means that Thomas is in a good, calm state of mind."
Roman smiled at him before grabbing his hand and heading to his room. "Let's do this!"
“That is good,” Virgil murmured, leaning against Logan. “That means we can all relax.”
Patton laughed, following Roman.
Logan nodded. "Precisely. All of us can relax and enjoy ourselves. That is a wonderful thing. I get to spend time with you and stop overworking myself."
Roman laughed a bit as they arrived at his costume closet. "Now let's decide on costumes and start this show!"
Virgil nodded, nuzzling Logan as he smiled.
Patton nodded, looking through the costumes.
Logan smiled as Virgil did so. He kept the other close to him, enjoying the feeling of calmness and happiness as the other was with him.
"As this will be entirely to your tastes, you pick the costumes. I can work with anything!" Roman smiled. "No matter what you go with, I'll nail the role!"
Virgil closed his eyes, feeling very relaxed.
Patton beamed and handed Roman a stack of costumes. “Pick any of these! I like all of your performances!”
(You can add the angst in your next reply if you'd like. ^^)
Logan was happy seeing the other relaxed and calm.
Roman looked through the stack of costumes before deciding on a couple of random ones that he found fitting for him and Patton. "Now let's put our costumes and do this!"
Things were going great…until one day.
The mindpalace had seemed a tiny bit more gloomy. Virgil was pacing, tugging on his hoodie sleeves.
Patton noticed Virgil and frowned, turning to Logan. “Something’s wrong.”
Logan nodded as he noticed how Virgil was behaving. While he had yet to be the best at understanding emotions, in the few weeks that had passed since Virgil had helped him realize that feeling emotions was necessary, he had picked up on a lot of information about them. He had also picked up on subconscious habits of the other sides and what emotions they corresponded with, especially Virgil, as he was closest with him.
"Virgil?" he asked softly, pulling the other into a small hug to stop him from pacing and to get his attention. "What's wrong?"
“It’s…It’s nothing,” Virgil muttered, leaning into Logan. It was clear something was wrong, though.
Patton crossed his arms worriedly.
Logan shook his head as he sighed. "Virgil, I may not be the best with emotions, but it is rather clear that you are not in a good mood right now," he stated. "I've picked up on some of your subconscious mannerisms when you're upset, and until I stopped you, you were doing those things. Please be honest and tell me what's wrong."
Virgil was shaking a bit, not saying anything.
“Virgil?” Patton asked softly.
“I…I’m so scared…” Virgil mumbled quietly. “Something happened and I’m a bit…on edge.”
Logan nodded in slight understanding. "Could you explain what happened?" he asked, his tone soft. "If you are uncomfortable with doing so, I understand, but I may need more information to fully help you."
Virgil shook his head. “I…I’d rather not.”
Patton gave Logan a worried glance.
Logan glanced at Patton, his expression showing a slight amount of worry as well. However, he managed to calm himself before turning his attention back to Virgil. "I understand, but please provide at least some context whenever you are comfortable doing so. Patton and I are here for you, no matter what, so we are going to calm you down."
“…I just need to take a break…” Virgil mumbled.
Patton perked up. “Then you just sit back and relax! I’ll make everyone some cookies!”
