"You two are home early." Logan hummed, not looking up from his book. "What happened this time?" Virgil stayed silent and still as he'd been all the way home, clinging tightly to Roman.
"You two are home early." Logan hummed, not looking up from his book. "What happened this time?" Virgil stayed silent and still as he'd been all the way home, clinging tightly to Roman.
"Some students were bullying Virgil again and it got so bad that he wanted to go home… Anyways, I'm going to try and take his mind off of things now…" Roman said, then going into his room.
"Have fun, Roman." Virgil looked up a bit when they stopped in Roman's room, rubbing at his stubborn tears.
"Hey, Virgil, we can do anything that you want… We could watch a movie or play a game… Anything to help you…" Roman said.
Virgil nodded and considered for a few seconds. "Can… c-can we just lay down for a few minutes?" He asked, his voice a bit weak and broken from crying.
"Of course we can, Virgil," Roman took Virgil into his arms and then laid on his bed with him, keeping him close to him to protect him, to provide comfort, and to love him.
Virgil tucked his head under Roman's chin and huddled close to him, using his breathing techniques to calm himself down quicker.
After a few minutes of all of that, Virgil finally started to be calm again, but they stayed there for a while after, just kind of enjoying it for some strange reason.
"Th-Thanks, Ro…" Virgil whispered after a while, moving a little closer. I love you… This part he kept only in his thoughts.
"You're welcome, Virgil. I'd do anything for you,' Roman said, adding something in this thoughts about how it's because he loves Virgil. He had all the confidence that he needed to admit it, but he wasn't sure if Virgil would react well to it at a time like this.
"Thanks…" Virgil definitely didn't have enough confidence, although he really wished he did. "Do you wanna watch another movie?" He asked.
"Sure, Virgil. You can go and pick out any movie that you want to watch. I'll go get us some snacks or something. What would you like?" Roman asked.
"Anything is fine…" Virgil reluctantly got up and started rifling through Roman's stash of movies, trying to find something interesting.
After a few minutes Roman returned with some popcorn and some other assorted things.
"I'm back, Virgil! Did you decide on a movie for us to watch?" he asked as he entered the room.
Virgil nodded, handing Cinderella over to Roman. "It's been a while since we've seen this one." He climbed back onto the bed and started idly eating some popcorn.
"Yeah, it has been. Let's watch it," Roman said, then starting the movie and sitting next to Virgil as it begins to play. "This should be nice, Virgil."
"Mhmm." Virgil leaned into Roman and ate some more popcorn. "You like the princess ones, right?" He asked.
"I like all Disney movies. Why do you think I have every single one of them?" Roman said, wrapping his arm around Virgil.
"Well, there's some you like more than others, right?" Virgil looked up at Roman questioningly. "Surely you have some preference?"
"I haven't really thought about my preferences with these movies but I'm sure that I have some if I would think about them," Roman said.
Virgil nodded. "I don't like Bambi because… well, they shoot his mother. That sh*t isn't cool with me."
"Yeah, that's definitely rude… I never really thought about that since it's been so long… It's kind of rude to shoot someone's mother…" Roman said.
"Just a bit." Virgil turned back to the movie, humming softly to himself. "And Fox and the Hound. Also not cool."
"Yeah, sometimes these movies have some messed up moments that I definitely do not approve of…" Roman said.
Virgil nodded. "It's always the cute ones with animals that are horrible…"
