Thomas nodded, "Makes sense," he said, taking another sip of tea, "But you shouldn't hide your powers,"
Thomas nodded, "Makes sense," he said, taking another sip of tea, "But you shouldn't hide your powers,"
"that's the first time I've heard that said to me." He smiled down towards the floor, her curtain of hair covering her blushing cheeks "I know I shouldn't, but it seems Everytime I try to show someone, they end up terrified, groveling, or dead. You're the first person I'm willing to show my true nature to."
Thomas smiled, pleased, "Well, I'm glad that you trust me enough," he said sincerely, "It's stupid that people are automatically afraid of something they don't understand," the boy murmured, reaching out to brush her wings again, "They don't take the time to see the beauty in it"
She glanced at him, not sure if he meant creatures like them, or her. " No I guess they don't" she said quietly " how's your wing?" She said as she turned towards him
He opened the one wing, wincing slightly as the crispy flesh (oh gods I hate that phrase. I just gave a full body cringe ahhhh) stretched out, "Better," he admitted, "But it still hurts a bit,"
(XD)
"Hm I'll see what I can do about the pain, as for the scabbing, that should heal on its own." She got up to find aloe and honey. "Turn around and extend your wings" she instructed
Thomas did as she asked, peering over his shoulders to watch her
She pade a paste out of the honey and aloe, mixing in a thickening agent. "I need you to lift your shirt up towards the base of your wings." She said softly, hoping that Thonas couldn't see her blushing "this is going on the base of your wings and on the burn areas. It'll help sooth the pain."
Thomas nodded, double tapping the glowing disc on his chest. His shirt disappeared and Thomas slid the disc into his pocket, unbothered by the fact he was shirtless
She blushed again. "I'm sorry if my hands are cold," Ferris began to apply the paste along the base of his wings and lower back, massaging gently. She moved to his wings, gently applying more of the paste to the Burns and scabs. "Better?"she whispered
The soothing paste sunk into his skin and he moaned, not caring how it sounded, "Yeah that's so much better," he sighed, relaxing
She giggles slightly as she continued. she started to hum an old lullaby that she had heard from a forgotten face long ago. "Tell me about yourself as we let this dry." She involuntarily started to massage his shoulders, knowing that they were tense and knotted.
Thomas relaxed into her touch, "Well," he said, "There's not much to tell. I was captured by Hydra when I was eleven and given these wings, then the Avengers rescued me when I was fourteen. Natasha adopted me, then married Clint. So here I am," he said simply, closing his eyes as her fingers kneaded into his taut muscles, "Other than that, I'm just your average Joe," he joked with a smile, "How about you?"
She smiled back "well, like I said before, I come from a hated family of overly happy people, and I'm the only one who came out with other emotions, so when they found out they resented and abused me. I've lived on the streets with people I'd rather not encountered and I've been fighting for my life ever since." Half was a joke, half was truth. She stopped massaging him and looked down and the time on her arm. A small moon with black stars leading down simbolizing her departure and exile. She sat back into the couch trying to think about her next move but got distracted by Thomas’s bare chest, watching as his muscles rippled as he breathed.
Thomas turned to face her, noticing the tattoo. As he moved, his muscles rippled, particularly his abs. he sat next to her and gently reached a hand out, tracing the ink on her skin, "It's beautiful," he breathed.
She bit her lip, watching him as he turned and traced her tattoo, shivering slightly "sadly, 'Marking Of The Darkness' they call it. Means I'm exiled from my family and home until I become a 'light' though that place hasn't been my home for many years." She looked away from him, hating herself for sounding so vulnerable. "you probably think I'm pathetic for not trying to do something about my issue." she said softly. He's too close! A far too familiar part of her wanted to flinch away from any male contact, but she stayed strong, not wanting to scare Thomas off
Thomas traced the pattern for a bit before looking at her and using a gentle hand to tip her face towards him, "Hey, I'd never think you were pathetic," he murmured, smiling, "You're a helluva lot stronger than most people I know"
She smiled a bit at his statement, more focused on their closeness and his bare chest and torso. She leaned slightly into his touch "So you're not scared?" he looked up at him with purple eyes, trying to decipher his expression. She could smell his cologne, intoxicating yet gentle, very fitting
The boy shook his head gently, "No," he murmured, "What's there to be scared about?" he smiled and closed the gap, gently taking her lips in his, one arm moving to rest on the small of her back
She gasped at first, trying to decide what to do, but finally gave into her into her darker side and surrendered to his kiss. She intertwined her hands in his hair, kissing him passionatly, breathing hard and heartbeat racing. * You've gone too far, now there's no turning back* her hair started to levatated, slightly smelling of burning lavender as it turned to purple flame
Thomas felt the heat, but just assumed it was from the kiss. He tipped his head to the side and kissed her deeply, feeling how soft her lips were against his
She leaned into the kiss, letting a slight whimper escape as she kissed him. She rested her hands on his chest, feeling heartbeat and breathing, moving them to his back, tracing the curves of his muscles.
Thomas felt his body shudder at her touch. He heard the whimper and began to kiss her more passionately, gently pushing her down so tat she was laying back against the couch as they kissed, Thomas on top of her, though not crushing her
She pulled him closer, wanting him as close to her as possible "is this a normal day day thing for you?" She said against his lips as she slightl pulled away, arms still wrapped around his back
Thomas smiled, shaking his head, "You're the first" he admitted, pecking her lips before moving his mouth to her neck to kiss and nibble slightly, "What about you?" He murmured against her soft skin
