"Sure, I can share with you if you want." Ashkit stretched, yawning a bit.
"Sure, I can share with you if you want." Ashkit stretched, yawning a bit.
"I'll like that! And plus, Leopardkit will be so annoyed if she saw me sharing food with you!" C'mon!"
Well, those weren't your intentions, but whatever. Ashkit took a bite of the fish. "Now what?"
"We eat? Then I can bring you back to the medicine cat den! Then we eat again! Then we sleep.. Like normal cats." He shook his head slowly as he stared at his brother, "You know, because those are the thing you must do to live?"
Uh… it's called chewing, right? How? Just try it, okay? Ashkit took another bite of the fish and just swallowed it whole, coughing a bit. I don't think that's how you do it. No, me either. We're the same, remember? Ohhh, yeah, right.
Taking a large bite of the fish, he found it easy to swallow and chew, manly because Redclaw told him how to do it.
Ashkit watched Thunderkit and mimicked him. See? Chewing, not swallowing it whole. Yeah, it's easier.
"Ok! I'm full! Are you? Whatever!" Grabbing him by the scruff, Thunderkit gave his brother little time to finish his meal before he dragged him off to the medicine cat den.
Ashkit was startled by suddenly being dragged, but he didn't resist. It was something that happened whenever a kitten's scruff was grabbed that made them not resist. (Tru story btw that's actually something that happens so mother cats can carry their babies easier)
"Man! Your so tiny!" He said through the mouth full of fur, "Good thing too!" Spiting him out at the entrance of the den, he pushed him inside.

Ashkit stumbled and fell when he was released, but he just stood up, sneezing in the midst of the dust.
"Dusty isn't it?" He chirped, looking aroun the med-cat den.
"Yeah…" Ashkit sneezed again and walked over to Thunderkit. "And a bit dark."
"Well, yeah… We're in a den, what did you expect?"
Ashkit shrugged, sniffing the herbs. They seemed to be low on catmint. He'd have to let Finchpaw or Silverbrook know before greencough season came.
"Well?" Thunderkit blurted, pushing him forward, "Go see Silverbrook!"
"What? For what, the catmint?"
"No! You have a cold! You should stay with them so you don't get Snowkit sick! Go! go, go, go!" He blurted, pushing him forward even harder. "Get you chubby fat, no that fat, butt in that den!"
Ashkit fell over despite digging his claws into the ground, coughing in the dust. "Fine, f-fine, I'm going." He pulled himself to his paws and looked for Silverbrook.
"Good. I'll be playing with Frostkit if you need me." Turning tail, he left Ashkit alone in the den.
"Okay. Silverbrook? Thunderkit told me to stay with you. Also, you're low on catmint."
"I know Ashkit." Silverbrook said calmly as he pulled out a dry stem of watermint, "Finchpaw is out looking for catmint, so don't worry." Dropping the stem at the entrance of the den, she looked back at the black kit, "Thunderkit wants you so stay with us? Well, I suppose its for the better, we don't want any of the other kits getting sick."
"Are colds contagious?" Ashkit cocked his head to the side, and Finchpaw came in with catmint in her mouth.
"For colds, most individuals become contagious about a day before cold symptoms develop and remain contagious for about five to seven days. Some cats may pass the flu viruses for longer than seven days. Colds are considered upper respiratory infections." Taking in a breath, she finished, "Does that answer your question?"
"Er, yes. Hi, Finchpaw." The small she-cat nodded in greeting, arranging the catmint amongst the other herbs.
