"Then I'll talk to him." She muttered, glancing out her den, "He shouldn't have done that."
"Then I'll talk to him." She muttered, glancing out her den, "He shouldn't have done that."
"N-No, it's not his fault. We shouldn't have been in the medicine den in the first place… I should have just gotten the herbs I needed from you guys and left.." He glanced over at his side, which had scabbed over at this point.
"And who did that to you?" She asked, sniffing his scratch.
"Well, Thunderkit on accident. Y-You see, I pounced on him from behind, and he threw me off because he thought I was someone else… a-and I slid on the ground, and there were rocks. I'm okay, really, but… but Leopardkit got really angry and attacked him and yelled at him… it was scary…"
"Do you want me to talk to her?" She asked, padding to the entrance of the den.
"You can if you want. I know she was just trying to protect me… but she took it too far…"
"Taking something to far? Hu? No, it doesn't matter, you should never take something to far to hurt someone ells." Padding out, she asked, "you want to come and see? Be a witness?"
"Er, o-okay…" Ashkit stood up, sneezing once before following her out.
"Those herbs Finchpaw gave you will help, and exerciser is the best remedy for sickness!" Walking slowly so he would be able to keep up, they found that Thunderkit still asleep besides Frostkit, a white tom with black stripes, and Snowkit, Frostkits sister. "Leopardkit?" Silverbrook whispered, looking over to Birchstripe, she could see the spotted she-cat curled up besides her aunt.
Ashkit watched from behind Silverbrook's leg in silence, holding his breath.
Slowly, the little spotted orange head popped up from her aunts tabby brown pelt, "Yes?" She asked, slowly walking out of the nest.
(Do you want to play as Leopardkit?)
(Ehhhhh idk how but I could try. We do need to find someone to play Abigail's characters tho)
Ashkit shrunk back and sneezed, tucking his tail between his legs.
"Come here, Leopardkit. We need to talk about the thing you did yesterday, when you yelled at Thunderkit for doing something on accident and then you hurt him."
"What do you mean? He hurt Ashkit! And that's inexcusable!" Leopardkit's tail fluffed up in irritation.
"Ashkit can speak for him self, and you have no right to attack him! The Code says- An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense." she took in a deep breath, then continued, "And Thunderkit is in your clan! And he is your older brother! You have no right, whatsoever, to hurt him. If you have any problem your should ask a warrior or Oakfur to fix it."
"But I have to protect Ashkit! It was defense for him, if not self defense!" Ashkit looked away. He was hidden behind Silverbrook, and he was fairly sure Leopardkit couldn't see him.
"No, no." she said sternly, "Did Ashkit ask for you to help? If so, you had no right to hurt your brother! he is way bigger then you and if you got him angry at you he could hurt you more then you did to him! You have to stop thinking in the moment! What if you attack Rainheart, your aunts mate, just because he tripped over Ashkit, he could kill you because of his large size, you have to think before you act, and plus, we are not Shadowclan! We do not attack our clan mates for stupid things!"
"No, he didn't. But what if Thunderkit had killed him? Ashkit's a lot smaller than him, so the blow could have really hurt him! He refused to let me near him, and he dragged him off the the medicine den even though it was him who hurt Ashkit!" Leopardkit was getting gradually angrier.
"And is something wrong with going to my den? you hurt him too, he would have gone there anyway. And Ashkit did not get hurt buy the blow his brother did, it was by the rocks, and it was an accident." Taking a step forwards, she let out a annoyed sigh and starred down at the kit, "Thunderkit would never kill him, he is to small, for a kit to die by another two or three kits at least would have to attack him. And Thunderkit would never kill him… I even think he loves him more then you because he was trying to get him to my den while your were delaying the process."
Leopardkit looked away, bristling. "I just want Ashkit to be safe, and if Thunderkit is in the way of that, then so be it." Ashkit crouched down. "I'm okay, Leopardkit. You don't need to protect me all the time, and I don't hold anything against Thunderkit. You don't have to either." He moved out from behind Silverbrook. "Ashkit?" He nodded. "But he hurt you!" "I know, but he didn't mean to. You hurt Thunderkit on purpose."
"He has a point." She said, now calm, "It doesn't matter, if you keep on protecting Ashkit like this he will never grow strong."
"If I can't take a hit, then I'll never be able to be a warrior." Ashkit said pointedly. Leopardkit opened her mouth to argue, but just fell silent for a moment. "Fine, but I'm not going to stop protecting you. Just… less so I guess…"
"Then it is resolved." Silverbrook said, turning away, he said one last thing before leaving, "Thunderkit, get out of the nest."
"Okkkk." The large calico kit hoped out his nest like a bunny, "Thank you…. Leopardkit for not standing up for Ashkit this time, I hope you'll stay this way." Glaring at her, he padded out the den to the fresh-kill pile.
Ashkit cast a glance towards Leopardkit before padding after Thunderkit, sneezing again. Leopardkit stayed where she was, not wanting to be anywhere near Thunderkit.
"I'm going to try to eat a fish!" He said happily as he glanced down at Ashkit, then he asked, "You want to try to eat solid food?"
