"I mean, that's true, really," Shuichi told him. "Luckily, you are safe now, and you will get better, so there's nothing to worry about."

“Don't say that… There's a bunch to worry about. They could come back or they could hunt you down..”

Shuichi sighed softly. "And if they come back, I'll do the same thing I did last time. I'm not one for violence, but when you're in danger, then it's a different story. I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to you."

“Promise?” he asked softly

Shuichi nodded. "Of course I can promise you that. I'm not sure what I felt when I saw that you were in danger, but I had to do something. I'm kinda surprised that I could get them all to go away, but if I can do it once, I can do it again if they ever come back."

“How can you be so sure.. Their hunters, they cheat the fight..”

"Whether they cheat the fight or not, if they try to hurt you again, I'm not letting them get away with it. I may not like violence, but if it's the only thing that will save you, then I'm more than willing to put up a fight."

Kokichi laughed softly “I love you.”

Shuichi gave Kokichi a soft smile in response. "I love you too."
