The man smirked “you give him over or he gets a silver bullet to the head.”

Shuichi growled at the comment. Did that man really just threaten to kill his boyfriend? While he wasn't a violent person or someone who even liked violence in just about any situation, if that man was going to try to kill Kokichi, he was going to do whatever it would take to protect him.

"You did not just threaten to kill him! What is wrong with you…!?" he asked. "I'm not letting you kill him!"

“Sir I don't know if you know but that mutt it a werewolf!”

"I'm well aware of the fact that he's a werewolf! He's my boyfriend, too, actually! Threaten my lover again and I'll have no choice but to end your life!" Shuichi growled, angry. "You can do a lot, but threatening my lover is too far!"

“Then you must be a werewolf to huh? Or do you have your own secret?” he asked as a few more hunters showed up

Shuichi growled at all of them, a new feeling coming to him as he found himself surrounded by hunters. For the first time in his life, he felt rage. It was a new feeling to him, and one that was completely taking over his mind as well. His thoughts were on nothing other than protecting Kokichi from the hunters, even if it meant eliminating one of them, or even all of them if they refused to back down. He was willing to do anything to save his lover's life.

"If you really think I'd let any of you kill my boyfriend, you're wrong!" he yelled. "I don't suggest trying to fight me, either. There's no point! I'll take all of you down if you try to hurt him!"

One of the men chuckled, and then the shot went off. Kokichis body fell and his soft whining echoed in the silence of the moment

"Okay, that's it! You asked for it!" Shuichi growled as he lunged at one of the hunters. He wasn't sure what he was doing, but his mind was filled with nothing but rage. "Shoot him again and all of you are gonna die!"

Shuichi noticed that, but it didn't stop him from continuing to attack. He was incredibly angry with all of them as he felt a strong desire to protect Kokichi. He was determined to make all of them suffer for what they had done to him.

After a minute of heavy fighting the hunters retreated, heading to their next target

Shuichi rushed to Kokichi's side once the hunters retreated. He was surprised that he managed to fight them all off, but he was glad that he did. Once they left, the rage left his mind, a strong feeling of concern replacing the feeling as he looked at his lover.

"Kokichi!" he exclaimed once he got to the other. "I'm not sure what to do here, but I have to help you!"

Kokichi was whining weakly, he couldn't shift back.. if he did it meant the bullet would hit his heart

Shuichi stood there for a moment as he wondered if there was even anything that he could do. He didn't know what he could do in the situation. He noticed that the bullet never left Kokichi's body, but he had no way of getting it out. or at least at the time. He truly wasn't sure about what there was to do. There wasn't anything that he could do on his own.

"Kokichi…I'm not sure what to do, but just hang in there, alright…?" he asked softly. "I'll figure something out, surely…!"

After a moment, an idea hit him. While he wasn't sure where the idea came from, he was certain that it would work. This would be his first time leaving the forest in years, since he avoided any part of society, but this was the only way for him to help Kokichi. In a hurry and without much thinking, he picked the other up and ran. It took a little bit, but he eventually got Kokichi to a vet. He'd just have to hope that they could help him, that this wound wouldn't become fatal.

Shuichi knew that the other was in pain, but he couldn't do much about that. He just hoped that the other's wound would be treated and that he would get better with time.
