Nora scooted the tiniest bit closer to him, the hand that wasn't in his hair now landing on his shoulder.

Cor smiled softly into the kiss and moved to wrap an arm around her waist, keeping the gap between them small. He was being gentle with his hold though so she could still pull away at any time… but he hoped that wouldn't happen soon.
Nora melted into his touch, breathing softly through her nose, adjusting her head so the kiss felt more natural. Her whole body was tingling, and she was suddenly very conscious that their knees were touching… that small fact sent electric pulses through her whole body.
Cor had no trouble continuing the kiss, and the new angle made it even easier. And he deeply enjoyed every moment of this, but he wasn't going to push anything further on her. He was many things but he certainly wasn't that kind of a creep. No, he’d leave it up to her if she wanted anything more than a kiss.
The kiss slowly ended, and Nora pulled back an inch or two, staring into his eyes. She was lost for words again.
Cor relaxed his hold on her as he felt her move, keeping his arms around her. He smiled softly at her as he met her stare and took in all of how beautiful she was. She was perfect. As far as he was concerned, Flynn couldn't have created a more perfect program if he tried.
Nora, in the back of her mind, was thinking similar thoughts; her mind seemed to have switched to static.
"You're wonderful," she murmured.
Cor’s lines flashed at that. He chuckled softly and shook his head. “I’m… not sure I would go that far. But I appreciate you saying it.” he admitted. “If anything… I’d say you were the amazing one.”
"You really think so?" Nora murmured. She wasn't used to genuine compliments like this. Sure, she got whistled at, and the regular catcalls, but this was different. He meant it. And she liked that.
“I know it.” he smiled confidently. She was amazing beyond words and he could go on and on about how he was just awed by her.
She leaned towards him again, but this time, it wasn't for a kiss; it was for a hug. Leaning against his chest, she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and let the tension in her body relax.
Cor smiled softly and gladly held her close, returning the hug gently. He rested his cheek against the top of her head and ran his fingers through her vibrant colored hair.
(Sorry I haven't been on much lately! Classes ✨exist✨ now and I've been suuuuper busy.)
Nora curled against him, closing her eyes; a few moments later, there was the sound of shouting, then the unmistakable sound of breaking glass. It sounded like there was some sort of argument going on.
"I should go take care of that," Nora mumbled, though she wanted to stay here, in his arms, forever.
(It’s ok. I may not be in school but I know how stressful it can be.)
“Yeah. I know.” Cor sighed and nodded as he reluctantly let go, after giving her one last gentle squeeze. “I’d offer to help but I might just make your job more difficult.” he admitted with a soft chuckle, kissing her forehead.
Nora reluctantly loosed herself from his arms, her light lines flashing pink when Cor kissed her forehead. Stepping out of the office, she looked down upon chaos. Not only was a drinking glass shattered, but a bottle of energy was too, spilling blue liquid all over the counter and floor. A drunk program was on the floor, and Rika the bouncer was standing over him, arms folded. The program was shouting something indistinct.
The moment Nora stepped out of her office, it was like the whole club had been put on pause. Face after face stared up at Nora, who suddenly became aware of the fact that she was angry: furiously, righteously angry. This program, who was now silent, had disturbed her night.
"Get him out of here," she said. "Clean up that mess. If there are any more disturbances like that, the club is closed for the night."
And with that, she whirled on her heel and stormed back into the office.
Cor waited to stand until Nora had reached the top of the stairs. His light lines were still burning from his last impulsive kiss as he moved to watch what was happening in the club, but being careful not to be noticed. He was relieved to see that Rika seemed to have the situation handled, even though he was sure Nora still had to make an appearance… But he wasn't expecting the near-deafening silence from the club as she approached the program. Her announcement was also a bit surprising but he wasn't going to complain. “Remind me not to get on her bad side.” he whispered, half-joking, to Bit before Nora came back up the stairs. “Are you ok, Nora?” he asked gently.
Nora's normally piercing glare softened slightly. "They… he disturbed us."
Cor blinked a couple times, surprised that had been the reason for her anger. “Yeah. I guess he did.” he nodded as he gently wrapped his arms around Nora. “But it's over now. You did your job as the owner of this club and dealt with the problem. He was just some program having too much of a good time.” he said calmly, hoping to help calm her. “Besides, wasn't the wait worth it?” he smirked softly at her before feathering a delicate kiss to her cheek.
"I suppose so," Nora said, leaning against him, pressing her face into the side of his neck so that her bun tickled his cheek.
Cor smiled softly and held her closer. “Then there's no reason to let that keep bothering you.” he assured smoothly.
"I don't want to be disturbed," she mumbled. Holy Flynn, his skin was soft.
Cor shuddered slightly, feeling her speak against his neck. “But you have to be here for the club…” he nodded, understanding as he spoke softly. “Otherwise, I would suggest that we go somewhere a little more private, where we couldn't be disturbed.” he admitted.
"We could go to my place," Nora suggested softly.
Cor’s lines flashed briefly at her offer. “If you're sure. I don't… If you have to stay for the club, I’ll understand.” He didn't mind the idea but he didn't really want to distract her from her responsibilities. He just wanted to be close to her and stay with her as long as she would let him.
"I don't need to be here," Nora admitted. After all, she spent most of her time in her office during "shifts", if you could call them that. The bartenders, bouncers, and other staff kept the place running smoothly. She just did background stuff.
