(wow! That's both rough and a little inconsiderate…)(of the school and your teacher, I mean.)
Cor nodded with a soft hum. He was still very worried about everything that he and Aroura had found but he couldn't exactly tell that stuff to Nora.
(Whoever it is, they've just singlehandedly quarantined 60+ people. Good on them.)
"I hope… someone stops him soon," Nora said, mentally kicking herself the moment the words came out of her mouth. In truth, she was more distracted by Cor's eyes. Bright, electric blue, the colour of energy…
(that almost sounds like a personal record…)
“Me too.” Cor nodded as he met her gaze, rolling his shoulder slightly to place his arm on the back of the couch… just behind Nora.
(Ikr)
Nora leaned back a fraction of an inch, the back of her neck brushing Cor's arm. It sent electric tingles down her body, as well as a pink pulse down her light lines. Almost absentmindedly, she set her drink down on Zuse's desk, brushing a hidden keypad with her fingers and tapping a few buttons. The windows overlooking the club darkened: no one could see in.
Cor would swear he felt his heart stop and his code glitch at the gentle, barely-there touch. His lines turning a soft pink as he downed more of his drink, watching her make the office more… private.
It was funny, Nora thought: the moment the windows had darkened, she had felt her own shields go down. She felt vulnerable, safe. She leaned back farther against Cor's arm, a mysterious smile flickering across her mouth.
Cor smiled softly back at her. The soft light from their lines being more than enough to see by. Taking a risk, he carefully lowered his arm so that it was resting on her shoulders.
Nora smiled too, her shoulders relaxing. Slowly, she leaned forward.
Cor let out a quiet breath, his lines flashing again briefly at her movement as he slowly moved to meet her.
Their noses brushed, and Nora tingled all over. Tilting her head against his, she found that her fingers had somehow come to rest on his shoulder.
Cor's heart was pounding in his ears, drowning out the music of the club as his eyes fluttered closed. He reached up his free hand and tenderly caressed her cheeks, breathing in the closeness between them before gently, finally, capturing her lips with his.
Nora's fingers had somehow found their way into his hair, which she found was surprisingly fluffy and soft. And he smelled like… what did he smell like? Something good, something wonderful. His fingers left warm trails on her cheek.
Bit let out an extremely quiet Yes.
Cor let out a soft rumbling sound as he felt her fingers in his hair and pulled her closer. She was just as soft as he imagined. And even tasted a little tangy… Sweet but tangy. He probably smelled a little like energy and the after-effects of riding a lightcycle.
Nora let the kiss play out, and when it loosened, she leaned back the tiniest bit and found herself staring into his eyes. She was at a loss for words. Her whole body was buzzing.
Cor didn't really want the kiss to end… but they both needed to breathe after a while. So, with some reluctance, he let the kiss end as well. His eyes and smile brighter as looked at her.
Nora's cheeks and light lines were the same colour, a pale, but bright, pink. She smiled at him as well, her fingers still absentmindedly fluffing his hair.
Cor wouldn't deny the matching color of his own lines and the warmth of his face at that… wonderful moment. “Wow…” he nearly whispered as he gently brushed a few strands of her hair behind her ear, loving the feel of her fingers in his hair.
"Wow," Nora echoed breathlessly, her skin tingling where he touched it.
He chuckled, nodding. “You… You're really good at that.” he smiled.
Nora's cheeks flushed an even darker pink. "I… I am?"
“Yeah. You are.” he nodded, still smiling affectionately.
"I…" The word trailed off, and she wasn't sure what to say: she'd never kissed someone before. "Thanks… you are too."
“Thank you.” Cor smiled a little shyly as his lines pulsed again. Honestly, Nora had not been his first kiss… Though she was certainly his favorite as of now. Of course, it helped that he would be able to remember this kiss unlike some of his previous ones. “I… I, honestly, would like to kiss you again.” he admitted softly.
Nora's cheeks flushed darker, and she leaned in the tiniest bit. "I would too."
Cor smiled a bit more at her and easily leaned in, not hesitating as much this time so their lips met sooner.
