(I might or might have not given up entirely…. on creating a rhyming prophecy…but uh this actually fits in nicely with what I have planned…so…I am keeping it like this…)
Percy placed Rachel against one of the stone columns, putting her in a sitting position. In a way, the oracle had front-row seats to the chaos that was about to happen. The camp directors were still arguing with each other, and Percy knew that Chiron would try to play this off as if nothing had happened. That everything was fine, but truth be told, things were not fine. He stepped in front of the arguing adults, effectively ending their conversation. "I know that many of you are afraid of what this can mean…and rightly so…I mean, we're still suffering from the effects of the past prophecies and…"
"Apurate, Jackson! No tenemos toda la noche!" Coral "yells" from her seat, ignoring the looks she's getting from the rest of the camp. She wasn't lying. They didn't have all night, besides, she wasn't the only one who wished Percy would get straight to the point.
Percy stared at Coral, his eye twitching. "Do you want to hear the prophecy, yes or no?"
Yells of no and yes were thrown out, all mixing together to form a cacophony of chaos. Chiron tries to say something to stop Percy from saying anything else but is stopped by Dionysus, who shakes his head and says, "Now is not the time."
So, Percy looks around. He sees the fearful eyes, their fearful expressions, and he can't blame them. He's afraid too, but the show must go on. So he takes a deep breath and speaks. "Five shall go west, and face the ones who have turned. There they shall find the heirloom of harmony, and see it safely destroyed. One shall be betrayed by someone they once called a friend…." Percy pauses, his eyes glancing toward Rachel. "The rest of the prophecy is…well, think of a radio getting stuck, and getting loads of static." He ignores Chiron, who's silently trying to get him to stop. "I only managed to get a few words, such as ghosts and apprehend…and a word that sounds like it could be insanity?"
He stops himself and looks around the silent dining pavilion. He watches them process everything and then the pavilion is once again thrown into chaos. There were demigods yelling that a quest was needed, and others yelling that a quest wasn't needed, what they needed was time to heal and that someone else, like the gods, should deal with this new and unfinished prophecy.
