A certain species (I haven't named them yet) of mine are literally born from stardust and are imbued with the powers of a God. For the first half of their lives, they are immortal and cold (literally cold). They hate being cold They only have limited powers, usually telekinesis. The second part of their lives is only activated after they meet their soul mate. They will, at first, be fine. But a few minutes later, they will burst into a ball of flames and become a literal walking star. Their powers will be escalated too so that's nice. The third and final stage of their life is only activated when their soulmate is about to die. If their soulmate is about to die from a disease, the star will be compelled to give them their life (making the illness go away and adding an extra 10 years to their life span). If the soulmate is about to be murdered. Well, have you ever seen Goku go Super Saiyan? They will obliterate everything around them, excluding their soulmate. However, when the star does one of these two things, they will die immediately afterwards.
But most stars don't even end up being at stage 2, so it's a rare thing
My vampires are the souls of the damned that are offered a second life by the forces of evil.
Vultra quills only stand up and light up as gold when they are stressed out, threatened, or trying to make a threat. The big belief behind it however is that their quills are always golden, instead of a bronze brown - which often leads to some people being very disappointed when they see a real Vultra.
Vultra are commonly used as entertainment in fighting, or to preform tricks. This can be done right, but for the most part, they are in confined spaces. Vultra prefer wide, open spaces to fly in as they wish. They are loyal though, and do not take betrayal lightly.
Vultra are more intelligent than they are given credit for in their world.
And humans. Don't forget about those :)

Yeah, but can humans melt gold in their mouths? (Probably should’ve made that clearer when I said a Vultra can melt gold)
Fae and insect dragons are considered to be the smallest of all the dragons. The largest fae dragon is only about the size of a large eagle

No, but when united they are a mighty force. And they have come this far in life, progressing so far and building so many new inventions. Humans don't need to melt gold in their mouths. They created something that can melt the gold for them, making up for the fact that they can't melt it in their mouth.
Morphidae are a race of creatures that were born from some heavenly thingamajig (havent decided on this last part yet) and are the only creatures capable of using massive amounts of raw magic with no problem at all.
They are generally found in the form of humanoids with wing like ears and slightly gender ambiguos looking, but this is only their physical form they are born in. Their true form is that of serpentine creatures with masks on.
Morphidae actually have transparent chests and limbs, with their soul visible through their chest (the soul looks like a marble surrounded by a thick layer of magic)
Their lives have two stages. The first one starts from birth and lasts until anywhere after they are fully matured - in this stage, they live in the mortal realm they develop their magic and are capable of reproduction. The second stage starts once the Morphidae decides to evolve into an angel like thing, their final form. In this stage they grow wings and can travel between realms. However, since their mortal enemy is absolutely determined to wipe them out, very few morphidae have actually evolved. The younger generations can barely survive long enough to mature and produce offspring
Here's a pic with how they look like :0
And this one over here is the example of a Morphidae in human form (true spiritual form is in the bottom right)

Oh wow
That art is amazing :D
Sirens have small teeth in their esophagus to help break down food
Thanks @Dragoncita :'D o3o im actually still working on the design of the true form, that's just a rough concept design :0
When Mythical Bloods are level 10, it will take longer for the powers to appear. Since this is so rare when the power test is taken and no powers show, it is passed off as no power.
Angels aren't inherently good nor are demons inherently bad. They choose, like everyone else
Only in modern incarnations. In religions lore they are good or evil depending simply on being an angel or demon. If you are going with traditional tales demons are kind of chaotic neutral to chaotic evil and angels are always good. It’s only modern stuff that is different. But of course in those they reduce angels to hot guys with wings and superpowers and a hell ton of angst.

Oh I know :) I just chose to go with that incarnation
Aspir have the ability to change their scales to match the environment. Contrary to popular belief, however, the change is not instant and takes time.
Angloids possess the ability to turn nearly invisible, aside from the light they give off. While they are primarily water hunters, this ability also helps them should they get stuck on the land. They use this ability at night or in the dark, luring creatures wanting a light source in their direction.
Azulits have light pink coral for teeth
Nobody, not even a Shifted themselves knows what their true form looks like.
Lycanthropes are 7 ft tall in their wolfish form
All gemstone dragons have prophetic abilities. Though depending on the type of gemstone, some have stronger prophetic abilities while others have weaker senses
While I only have ten varieties of Mythical Blood that I use for writing and RP's, if there was a humanoid-like Mythical Creature that could… have babies with humans, there is a Mythical Blood for it. All other Mythical creatures went into hiding in a place no human has ventured. There were also some humanoid Mythical Creatures that went into hiding, but they came out to check on humanity and found the Reawoken Myths Society and the Rogue Myths Society.
There's a creature that looks like a cardboard box. It weighs 800 lbs., and when you try and open it, you'll vanish. You don't become food for the creature, you're just suddenly nonexistent
